PLEASE! Somebody should say that everyone in this band has/had a huge talent (rest in peace, dear Kei), but ... TOMONORI is a f***ing genius! Every beat he plays in all the "transitions" is extremely accurate and full of good taste! I really think this "chubby guy" could be the best drummer in all Asia!
parasyte (kiseijuu: sei no kakuritsu) is really good. really deep and actually kinda philosophical in some scenes. migi might remind you of venom (from the newer movies with tom hardy) somewhat both visually and personality-wise (visually they both make similar looking blades and in terms of personality, theyre both aliens trying to wrap their heads around the unique behaviors that humans exhibit). personally i cried at numerous scenes and i really enjoyed the anime. rewatched 3 times too! by the way, even tho the opening is crazy good since its by falilv, dont sleep on the ending! "its the right time" by daichi miura is really good! edit: not saying marvel copied kiseijuu nor vice versa. theyre similar but different. also i just looked it up and the manga for kiseijuu came out in 1988 and venom also appeared for the first time in marvel comics in 1988. pretty weird, huh? edit 2: every single member to date has actually had some share of vocals in some songs (except the drummer tomonori). ill list them here Minami: main screamer. still in the band. does screams and even rap vocals in some of the newer songs like great strange and LLLD So: main vocalist. still in the band of course. actually does screams in quite a few songs like crossover and massive core. uses an autotune/vocoder effect but i assure you he can sing very well. he sings with no effects in the beginning of the song believe yourself. Sxun: lead guitarist, left in 2018 (on good terms with the band, there was no beef) and he now works with other smaller bands under the name "PLW Studios". he was the main backing vocals for a really long time singing alongside So. he also screamed once in the song sparkling sky laser. Taiki: rhythm guitarist, still in the band. this is the guy that looks like a different person in every music video cuz he loves dressing up weirdly. he screams, mostly in a more guttural tone. its not rare for him to scream. in fact, he screams in this song. Kei: bassist who passed away in 2019. super shy so he never sang but he actually got over his shyness and sang in a few songs shortly before he passed away. he took over some of the backing vocals when sxun left all the way up until he unfortunately passed away. his vocals can be heard in the song accept each others sense of values (thats the only studio song that his vocals are in to my knowledge) but you can also hear him live in the performances between 2018-2019. Tetsuya: current bassist. took over the backing vocals when kei died. you can hear him in newer songs (the stronger the further youll be, massive core, one shot one mind, evolve forward in hazard, shape of trust, etc.) as well as any live performances in the last 2, almost 3 years. Mashu: original bassist who left in 2013. im not 100% sure about him but im fairly certain he does a few backing vocals in the song scream hard as you can. you can see him with a mic and his mouth open in the music video.
