that character strangely got me more interested and hyped. The uncertainty and the freshness of choice. I wouldnt even mind if all the characters are side characters, it would just make it more freeing.

Day 3 of trying to tell Globku that the Frieza they have on the roster is from Super (it says so on the JP website), which kinda messes up his placement
Im actually baffled how he missed that 💀
Here's the thing. The Japanese website says "Super", the English just says "Final Form", and his placement is very close to Goku (Mid), who is from the Frieza saga. I think it's very much unclear and unconfirmed that it's DBS Frieza.

There is one problem to your rant, and its that Kakunsa attacked Android 17 in the tournament. Which, seeing as he was the MVP, was a pretty important action. So going off of that, its most likely that they're adding characters that are either featured the most during an arc, or they're adding characters that directly had an interaction with an important character (not going to say lead character here as some of us don't think that Gohan or Krillin was a prominent character during the tournament arc)
No disrespect, just wanting to clear some unease about the roster.

ofc hit was going to be in this lol, he's the second most important adversary character in the DBS TOP arc and probably Goku's most impactful rival in the series other than jiren. No way was he getting cut
You can certainly cut that second Vegito for Dragon Ball Super
There will be only one Vegito with 2 transformations in the final game. It makes no sense to have a DBS Vegito if there isn't even a moveset for his base form. At best DBS Vegito will be only Vegito Blue, so either way that's 1 free character slot you can fit Kakunsa in.
There will definitely be 2 vegito along with 2 gogetas. Just how tenkachi goes and they are gonna be consistent
SSB Vegito does not hit the same as SS Vegito. I guess for me that's due to his implementation leading to the retcon.

If they're developing the game in the same time as Daima's production then I think that Daima would likely be DLC. Same goes for Super Hero.
I actually had the complete Trio de Danger in my prediction but Kakunsa? Nah never guessed her. But I can actually fit her AND Super Hero into my prediction by cutting some of the Z Movie Stuff
I'm fine with them cutting the movie characters because id definitely pay to play as someone like cooler or Z broly. They might even make OG ball & GT dlc as well. Since this will be my first budokai tenkaichi game I'm very hyped

One reason that makes me think of this is because we know that Sparking Zero IS a direct sequel to Sparking Meteor or Budokai Tenkaichi 3, and one thing we saw in every Sparking release is that all of the characters from the previous game make it in

Many fans aren't.
And instead act as if a vague grid shown in such a way at the end of the first proper trailer is somehow an official confirmation of there being only number x of characters.
And from there, make crazy predictions.
Why would Superhero be DLC but not Daima?
Because Daima would be newer I guess but If that is the case then why would super hero be DLC and not Broly

Tbh, my biggest disappointment is the fact that they have no multiplayer offline, thats gonna suck, specially for gather up with friends, so many fighting games have offline multiplayer and not having db sparking zero is a bummer
Yeah if they don't have it than it's not truly part of the tenkaichi series & I'll sadly have to pass on buying it.
@@nicoctane1669 it just shows how greedy these companies have become, like, its a fighting game. And the module for this game makes it possible to play it offline with friends and stuff, but, they want to force people to jump online and pay for subscriptions

I honestly think that along with Super Hero being DLC, the movie and GT characters are probably gonna be DLC, too. Fighterz did this and got a lot of bank from it. Like you said, i would rather pay for Beast Gohan, Orange Piccolo, and the Gammas then Kakunsa. Either way, this game gonna be fun!
That the thing. Is obvious they gonna cram the base roster with DBZ and DBS the most. As for Movies, GT, Daima, and probably OGDB or DBH characters are gonna end up as DLC. Broly being in the base roster is not a surprised coz it Broly! Majority of DB game always put Broly in the base roster (except Xenoverse and FighterZ since this is the start of DB game try to manipulate microtransactions). Before this it was DBZ Broly, but now since DBS Broly is the main one, they use this version for base roster. I still believe DBZ Broly gonna be in Sparking Zero as well, maybe as DLC this time

I predicted kanunsa was in the game with my full roster predictions on my RUclips short. I'm going to be getting back on my channel again to explain why she made it and why some others characters I know most people didn't think about will be in the game, "Especially for giant characters"
I can definitely see them releasing GT and Super Hero as DLC since characters like Beast Gohan or SSJ4 Gogeta can sell really well due to hype but I'm really confused about you leaving Daima in the base roster, we know nothing about it yet but if there is anything super hype in it I think they'll definitely save it for DLC
And on the topic of Dyspo's Kaioken-like transformation, what if other characters function the same way? I can kinda see them making powerful transformations like UI or Super Saiyan Rage more of a temporary boost instead of an actual character in the roster

Kakunsa was really not that crazy unexpected, she is in all the recent mobile games and the Tournament of Power seems to be a important part for Sparking Zero, since Jiren and Bergamo appeared in the first trailer. I was really expecting both Ribrianne and Bergamo's trios to be included in this game.
I fully believe we will get at least one representative of each universe if they adapt the tournament of power arc, of course they would be mainly picking characters that had a significant moment or episode in the anime. Although kankusa pretty much confirms what I and others had speculated, GT will not be in the base roster and Super Hero won't be either unless they really are going above 164 characters, it would make sense for character packs to not really have a specific theme instead be a bundle of various characters, that way it makes so people will buy lesser known or not as liked characters for the sack of also getting the one they want. I guarantee you people wouldn't care to buy a 5 character pack as long as 2 of them are popular like SSJ4 Gogeta and Android 21. Just look at FighterZ

Tori was closely working with Daima more so than any other modern Dragon ball project. They likely will launch or give away for free to honor his passing.
Beast Gohan sounds like it could make a lot of money as DLC though.😂😬

i had Ribrianne, Roasie and Kakunsa all in my own prediction, especiallly Kakunsa, she was one of my favorite new characters in the tournament of power that were not from universes 11 or 6, and her fight with 17 was great in my opinion.
Kakunsa was like the one Super character I wanted the most

Kakunsa is by far my favorite female character in DBS so this got me hyped as hell. (By the way I think the easiest cut character will be Super Hero Pan)

There is no confirmation that there will be only 164 characters. Plus, the image with the characters placements is just a placeholder, not the complete character selection screen, the placements are probably just randomized

@@Globkuseen a prediction that dragon ball sparking release date was gonna be revealed around the fall just like the other tenkaichi games as for daima its set to release around the same time as the reveal for sparking.
@@Globku to be fair, DB games always release the anime characters like a year after they show up, Xenoverse and dbfz did that right, GT is more likely in base game then Daima characters, and as for Daima goku, sparking Zero might just do the same as DBFZ and have GT goku be the kid goku version at launch, there is also the chance daima will be delayed to after Sparking Zero release cause the staff needs to address the issue on how Daima has to be done cause of recent events. GT however is all ready to be done so thats a safe option, atleast having SS4 Gogeta as the only GT character at launch as a Pre order bonus is a perfect option as he is the mascot for the tenkaichi series and would sell more than anyone, especially if he gets an Instant win ULT like in dbfz, then people will main him, but the rest of GT would be great DLC

Kakunsa is a major curveball, but I was always under the assumption that there'd be at least one major ToP fighter per team. Likely Anilaza (U3), Ganos (U4), and Obuni (U10) for the "less important" teams.

Idk I think GT still has a chance, Daima’s definitely not gonna be there at launch, if they aren’t including characters from a movie that came out almost 2 years ago, I doubt they’ll include characters from an anime that hasn’t even released yet
2:22 im not 100 percent sure but i think this is the mechanic where in the the original bt3 you could attack w square and click circle mid combo to vanish around your opponent

I remember in the previous scans they said goku has more smash attacks and vegeta more ki blast (depending on the form) so i think that could be it
If Blue cat lady from universe 2 is in then more Pride Troopers will be in too.
My guess is that every important character will be in the base game and the slots aren't that important as we think. If they make dlcs it might be crossovers (21 or towa and mira, maybe the heroes characters like ssj4 limit breakers) and daima. Maybe if we are lucky even the manga. Those would sell.

I always figured Super Hero will be DLC. They know full well people will be hyped enough to pay extra for Gohan Beast and Orange Piccolo.
It says that super trunks’ form takes pride on stamina but I thought in that form they moved much slower and tired quicker

i know this sounds insane but im gonna say that its gonna be more than 164 characters, they havent even officially confirmed it in writing, everyone is assuming cause of the hexigon roster image, theres simply way too many characters for a tenkaichi game if charaters like kakusna are in, and if theyre saying its a true tenkaichi sequal with all sorts of characters like og db, dbz, movies, gt, super etc... its gotta be more. or im wrong and theres gonna be hella DLCs

But alas, far too many people are falling into the slippery slope of "Well, this game can't possibly include everyone, so it will include as few characters as possible! The rest will be DLC!"
With excuses like modern gaming, or this being a reboot of sorts... or the absolute worst excuse: "Not everyone is important enough"... which completely clashes with the modus operandi of past Tenkaichi games.
I thinks there’s gonna be two rosters
No disrespect but if we want this game to have a long live span like XenoVerse and Kakarott have, we will need DLC. Also take into account development time and marketing, it's just not feasible to have more than 164 UNIQUE characters without at least 8-10 years of development, it's just not good for business specially if we consider the development cost of the game, why add 200 unique characters on launch and then have to spend two years making another batch, in order for the game to keep it's audience engaged it needs a semi consistent stream of content for people, game development has become harder as games become more costly to make and if you aren't satisfied with over 160 characters on the base roster, then you will never be satisfied unless they add every single character to ever appear during a fight in dragon ball. Don't keep your expectations unreasonably high, keep in mind you wouldn't be playing as most of these characters anyway, there are people who only want one character and play them every time because of how broken they are

I could see Jimizu (Yardat) being added so you could have Yardrat training in the story there too. Plus two possible fights with him fighting Goku and Gohan.
Lowkey, I think the arrows on the screen may allow us to scroll said direction on the character screen selection
If I remember correctly, there was a even more broken version of afterimage, the afterimage strike, you could evade lots of attacks with instantaneous transmission for a short while (standard afterimage could only evade one attack) but not many characters have it. Master Roshi was one of those.

I expected this as Bergamo was announced and if the Trio de Danger is added obviously Ribrianne's team would be added as well.

More and more Im comvinced that movies and GT will be DLC. Its a Good move honestly, the sell hard sellers first and gold oldies later to expand the interest of the game.

Honestly I feel Daima, GT, Z Movies will be DLC if I’m being serious because it makes no sense to have the Broly movie characters but not the super hero movie characters (but I can see them as dlc) but if I had to pick between Daima and Super Hero on who gets their spots in the base roster I feel Super Hero is more likely to make it

@@Gfromda23 There is no reason to have two Base, Super Saiyan and Ultimate Gohans, they are not different enough in Z and Super Hero to warrant that, just combine the both and give them Beast and Saiyaman

Are u forgetting the TOP? Super hero he does do cool moves. If u add beast gohan to adult Z gohan, that won’t truly feel like that gohan from the buu saga

correction, people did expect it, people that grew up with the tenkaichi series and had minor characters like spike the devil man. it was obvious that alot of minor tournament of power characters would get in and gt and daima and superhero would be dlc, only ones that didn't notice are people not used to a traditional tenkaichi roster like you. so to this I say, tell me you're clowning without telling me you're clowning.
Showing Super Trunks was surely a choice and I love it

I actually want more side characters like her in this game, just like the 3rd Tenkaichi game adding tons of side characters. Besides any missing characters from BT3 can be DLC, better then not getting them at all.

It'd be great if they included loads of distinct characters rather than every different minorly-different form for all the Saiyans, but the inclusion of 11 Gokus and 13 Vegetas doesn't give me high hopes for that.
