My best tip would be. Learn to run different abilities on different expeditions. For example, take aoe heals in genesis + scream for easier tree. On the other hand, divine embrace is priceless on tempest. Just be flexible and don't look up to youtube speedruns build while running your m10 with randoms. Also, fortifying sacred ground is much have, so use that sagacious hat. Don't be scared to run 3/4 wards.
Great video. Really found it useful listening to and watching through this video, gave me awesome tips and tricks. Would maybe add to that, the discussion and gameplay bit could have used some overlay of the abilities and perks you were mentioning. Because the full skill tree hasn't come up yet, newer healers/players might find that part a bit overwhelming until they see the skill try, so I guess you could start with that part and then discuss or add in overlay images, though that might be a lot of extra work. Either way, great video, keep it up!
To people asking for an alternative if you don't have the glowing life crystal yet. A good alternative (using the aoe build shown) is Will of the Ancients Life staff from Lazarus. Go with Sagacious Hat and Pants (Tempest) for the Sacred ground and Mending protection perk buff with refresh. And just swap the other pieces if you want to run ward perks.
I liked your vids better when you show the abilities as your going over them. It helps make it easier to focus on what your talking about. Keep up the good work and hopefully I'll be able to watch you stream sometime
Liver of Prometheus is perfect for the aoe healer build (sacred ground, beacon, and orb of prot). Refreshing move and refreshing evasion mean you can throw out multiple beacons and SGs and orb comes off CD super quick and can help with aoe burst heals. The refreshing evasion also helps as a reminder to keep intensify up
sacred+ orb+ Splash with 150 con seems to work really well over any other builds for me for all mutations especially in Depths...with intensify it works so much better imo compared to Divine in higher mutations😇
This youtuber suggests all light gear, but in fact you can wear 1 piece of medium armor (preferably chest gear) and yet stay in light weight class, thus increasing armor and healing.
I use exclusively AOE life staff with either blade DPS vg or blessed refreshing rupture vg depending on what I'm doing. You only need targeted heal (splash or DE) when doing Ennead or possibly Depths. You can run this way beyond just beginner, and I use this to speed run with all melee composition. If you're using this and your team is struggling, they are likely not great at dodging or other mechanics, or just a bad group composition - it really struggles if you have multiple ranged members (which you shouldn't). It is effective all the way from 300 FOC / 200 CON to 5 CON max focus. Additionally, I think Mending Bile is THE best heart rune you can run as healer in mutations, regardless of nature mutation or not, for maximum healing throughput.
@@LemoniGames it has 15% healing reduction (useful for nature or mobs that will use potion, shamans, etc) and is essentially another essence rupture by healing DPS as they do danage for 20%.
I always find no matter the group cc is always a problem so I just run beacon, de or le, sacred and I always max out beacon for haste. I run a scream perked VG with keen, ref move orb, oblivion, scream with fortifying vines to make up for the fact I don't take protectors touch passive node for fortify for more utility. TLDR just scream orb oblivion spam and stop mobs moving full stop with no other CDR except leaching yourself with VG from time to time zero refreshing build as I run a full perked armor set with freedom elemental aversion set with protection amulet and full diamond/malachite gems. Hope this helps some of you carry your groups :)
I'd love to heal more, but I really struggle with weapon swapping and want to concentrate on Life staff only. I've healed in Wow for years but relied on using Healbot as an add-on , but used multiple classes from monk, shammy, druid and priest.
Lol, I hear you neighbor, for me it was either my retrib Paladin or all the other alt healers on two accts. And who didn't stack addons with the all monitor borders covered leaving you a postage stamp view box . . .
Hello man, Do you use the same equipment (Sagacious) for all Mutator expedition? Like Tempest, Dynasty , Lazarus and Genesis? And do you change the gems according to the expedition of the week?
Second this question, because people on my server give so much greif if I am not ward stacked as a healer. So I don't even try to run past M6 generally becaus eI dont wanna hear it.
You can easily heal m10s with no ward as a healer. However, once you have the shards it would be nice to invest in ward so that you can safely heal and also void blade for rend for your team/obliv always up.
If you have trouble getting the Glowing Lifecyrstal Staff; what other easier to get Lifestaffs would you recommend in the meantime? Also - great video as usual, so thank you!
Just farm it till you get the materia to craft. Took me 15 runs between a random mix of m2-m10 (whatever had a lobby open) and I had gotten enough to craft.
Will of the Ancients from Lazarus is pretty good if you run the AOE healer build. Just use Sagacious hat for sacred ground and Pants for Mending protection from Tempest. If you want to use ward gear just swap the chest and gloves legs
Okay, I have some different question. I know how to be a good healer in expeditions. But what about solo quests? I always had problems in 60 lvl locations, because I dien’t have enough dmg to kill 2-3 mobs at once… do you just always need to have someone with you? Cause that’s total BS… I don’t want to wait till some of my friends come online, so I can progress with my quests. What do you do then?
@@LemoniGames thanks :) i am currently playing life staff with void gauntlet, but I use blade tree :D and it seems to work, currently I’m in map 41-50, but I think I’ll reset spells in void gauntlet and use it in expeditions, and life staff with hatchet when playing solo.
Drop some tips here to help other people with their healing :)

Sacred ground area must be increased for pve, its too small.
Definitely wear ward gear for mutations.

Strongly agree. Because these videos is mostly for noobs or players new to healing. Which I am both.

100% a great tip! Personally, I think RE isn't really needed in PvE since we can hit so many light attacks :) It is still great though!
Im brand new to the game and your healing guides are a godsend.
New ones coming soon!

That sounds like a good build too!

If you don't have a MP life staff, Staff of the Befouled Temple with Keen Beacon from starstone is great.
This is a solid one!

You honestly don't really even need to use the vg! You could run an ig and only swap to entomb :)

I actually use foot pedals for mine hahahaha...so I have three foot pedals and my "v" key
