My Burden For The Home Of The Brave, Isaiah 29,
Ariel - used of Jerusalem as the “city of heroes,” vs 1a
Vs 13, say they love God and want to serve Him, but their heart is not in it and follow men’s thoughts and not God’s
Vs 15, they have lots of things going on in their lives that are displeasing to God and think they are hidden, however, God sees them all and holds those accountable
Vs 1, add ye year to year; let them kill sacrifices - hypocritical worship
Vs 2, Distress, heaviness and sorrow (because of vs 13)
Vs 3, besieged
Vs 4, act as if possessed by a spirit
Vs 5, multitude of strangers: noncitizens
Vs 6, disasters: natural and manmade
Vs 7, nightmarish
Accept things that are not so
Vs 8, not filled with real food: The “real bread of life” pushed teachings that are not in the scriptures and made those more important than the actual scriptures (the doctrines of man and devils vs the doctrines of God)
Vs 9, act drunken, but not intoxicated - just foolish in what is believed and done
Vs 10, will not see what is actually happening, refuse to accept the real truth
Vs 11, delusional - 2 Thes 2:11-12, and for this cause God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Vs 12, The things that are happening will not make sense to you, (not the way you think it is supposed to work)
Prov 11:1, a false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight
Apostasy- 1 Tim 4:1-3, Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
Rejection of God’s design of the family model & of the biblical marriage, (see 1 Tim 4:3 above)
Lack of child bearing and raising children the biblical way
1 Tim 5:14, I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.
Vs 14, Wisdom of men is dead, they cannot understand because there is no fear of the LORD
Prov 9:10, The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Vs 16, they have upside down thinking (Is 5:20, woe unto them that call evil good and evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!)
A falling away first - Defection from truth/rebellion
A baby in the womb is not alive
Boy does not mean male, Girl does not mean female
Men can have babies
Abominations become culturally acceptable (Lev 18)

American Worldview Inventory 2022, showed that 41% of senior pastors - as compared to 28% of associate pastors - have a biblical worldview. Further, only 13% of teaching pastors and 12% of children's and youth pastors have a biblical worldview.
Collapse of the biblical church
There is no way the ecclesia of Christ works accurately when the family is not working accurately
God has a “reset button”: Noah, invasion, civilization collapse: economic, plague, etc.
Recognize the error
Vs 24, come to understanding and learn doctrine
Vs 18, open your ears and eyes to the truth
Mat 13:15, For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. (but blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.)?
Vs 19, God will increase their joy in the LORD and happiness
Vs 20, the evil ones are taken away
Vs 21, offended by words: lay a snare, remove justice
Vs 17, God will bless
Vs 23, not ashamed
Thrive where God plants you, DO NOT QUIT!!
Jer 29:28, For therefore he sent unto us in Babylon, saying, This captivity is long: build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
Ezek 28:26, And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.
Luk 19:13, And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
Rev 2:26, And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over over the nations;
Repent: remember that God is holy and wants you to be holy, What would it take to get you there? Accept the Gospel, be born again. Reject the lies: anything that does not align with the scriptures!
