Armour chili tastes like the Armour Treat. Hormel is the best of all brands. Add two cans to 1lb ground beef and a can of Rotel. Makes a great pot of Chili in less than 5 min for less than $10
I should only need to remind you that Max Goldman fed his dog Hormel Chili in the movie Grumpy Old Men. Of course the dog was a bit gassy (too many beans?). So you may be on to something here. I'm such a grumpy old man i will eat any chili as long as there are saltines, sour cream, and shredded sharp chedder cheese available.
I saw skyline when I was picking these up at the grocery and wondered how can chili can be so expensive.... I'll definitely try those. Thanks for the recommendation.
Of these chili's, I've only had the Hormel and the Wolf's. Hormel is ok. I'm not exaggerating....the Wolf's smells like 💩 and I'll assume tastes like it too! It's horrible. One spoonful and I threw it away! Where's the Stagg chili. THATS my favorite canned chili.
Thanks for the injustice call out, but I did have fun trying these canned chili's and wasn't going to put them on the stove top separately to " retain the flavor." It's canned chili for Heavens' sake.
@@SOMETHINGWITHSETH Completely changes the taste, God Bless you man. I see why commenters call you "somethingdumbwithseth or somethingstupidwithseth. Your just oblivious. But hey at least you made the video. Take care
Four. There are some 15 different canned chili producers, many making several different types of chili, and you pick the *best* by trying four. *_Something Stupid With Seth_* RUclips: Do Not Recommend Channel ** _poof_
Hey Brian, thanks for your opinion. This was based on availability and best selling brands. I certainly know there are more options when it comes to canned chili but I based my video on what I wanted to do since I'm the content creator for my channel. Keep up the good work on your channel and I'm looking forward to seeing your chili video.
What is your favorite canned chili? Drop me a comment and let me know.
Any that I didn't have to make. 😅
@dangeroustoman I'm not a huge fan of canned chili, but these weren't bad for what they are.
Wolf Brand is my personal fave, but you need to try Wendy's canned, which is also pretty good.
Nice review.
Been eating Hormel. Did not like Wolf. Think I'll try Marie Cavenders
That was a brave taste test to undertake. Best wishes with what will come next, lol.

You need to try Gold Star Chili or Skyline!

I have had multiple comments about the Stagg chili, so I definitely need to put that in my my next video on chili's.
STAGG Silverado beef
Mine is turkey ranchero.
Wolf and hormel
I agree with you out of the 4 I sampled.
Armour has too much salt. I just bought some M/C chilli today from Walmart $1.88
@kenfox22 they all have too much salt but for a canned chili, the Armour Original is good.
I have only had hormel which is just OK. Can not speak about the rest.
Thanks for the comment!!!
First of all right off the bat, micro-waving them is a crime in of itself

You would have needed to go to at least four varieties a piece, a truly useless comparison otherwise, right?
