I saw a board shoot out of the bowl at Desert West in Phoenix and hit a guy about 20 ft away who was sitting on the ledge with others. Blood started just pouring out of his head immediately and he collapsed halfway to walking out of the park. If I'm not wearing a helmet, I always make sure that there's no possible way that someone could fall and hit me with me with their board even if there's considerable distance.
I only occasionally watch your vids, but that dude rips. I'm more into street skating but I love watching people like him rip through transitions/vert.
I feel for Matthew cause i have 36 years of his style of skating , and i know he is gonna enjoy many years of this. But it really sucks to walk long distances now, just destroyed joints. I hope he has a different build and all goes well in his later ages, for now i am cheering him on to do the gnarliest sht and win man.

If you ever go to norcal go to Santa Rosa skatepark. Maybe I’m biased, but I think think it’s the most fun park ever built. Three bowls and a snake run with endless lines and a fun box. No coping. Total flow.
I grew up skating with Tony Trujillo and watching him terrorize the SR skatepark with the gnarliest lines, no warm up ever. There’s some people who are just made for transitions and it’s too easy for them. Tony was like that. But!, he never left the park EVER, except to go to Taco Bell with the crew from lunch. Otherwise he was in the park 8 hours or more a session and didn’t come out. The rest of us just dabbled in the park and then skated flat, curbs, and the stairs at the high school across the street, more than we stayed in the park. I always wished I was able to figure out what it was that Tony had when it came to transitions. Truth is, he couldn’t really ollie that high on flat compared to the other kids, all his flat tricks were done pretty low, but he could boost the biggest airs with any transition he hit. He made the pros that would come through look amateur by the time he was 14/15 years old.

Mmmm Mr. Dangler I kinda just blasted over you and your selfie stick, you were talking to yourself into the camera, (u blew it) so, idk if barking out tricks n challenges…..is the best look, ya dangled the angled!
