Color wise it can be anything. Rule is it has to be a solid color, not flashing. You cant mix blue and red or blue and white, has to be one color throughout or itll be confused witg emergency vehicles... Its not frowned upon, but discouraged as you'll get cop headaches.. Personally, Ill just stick with amber. I enjoy the classic rolling flaming ball look on a white or yellow tractor....

They're worth at best, $0.50 😄 > Everything at these truck stops are always 300+% Overpriced. Especially like many of the stuff I've seen at Pilot truck stops near Tyler TX. Most of this stuff can be found on Amazon or eBay, for a lot less. Don't buy stuff at Buc-Ee's 😄

Not too sure about the laws on trucks passing thru NJ if its not flashing and its not registered in a state that prohibits blue lights.... Your fine. Just depends on the state that the rig is registered in and who stops you.

Now, I realize this is an old video, but in regards to the lights, the Whelen products are worth the price, I have 2 pairs of Whelen Vertex hideaway strobes mounted in the front right and left turn signal housings and the rear right and left reverse light sections on my f150. i was quite happy with the build quality on them.
Get ALL your stuff while you're there! Get reflectors for the sides of rigs so cars can see you! See if they have tire chains. Get windshield ice scrapers for winter. Also de-icer spray. Get things to clean headlights. Get bulbs for taillights etc. Get galoshes for rainy conditions. Get flashlights.
A place that sells actual strobe lights and not cheap knockoffs. Honestly automotive stores need to start carrying real strobe lights. Those cheap ones are a joke and they're dangerous.

In the state of Georgia it's illegal to have red or blue lights without a permit I could be wrong but I think first time is a warning then the second time is a fine
here in the netherlands we have a law that literally says : a driver of a vehicle may not have a blue strobe on his vehicle or he will be fined. inside a blue light or at the back or front is ok but no blue strobes
Blue lights inside your truck are fine as long as they do not flash and are not visable outside the truck, on the outside of the truck while on public roads are illegal whether or not they flash but can be legally displayed on private property such as truck shows and truck stop parking lots which is handy if you have those duel led lights that switch color with the flip of a switch. At least thats my understanding of the federal laws, state laws may differ.
Love Iowa 80, been there several times and it is absolutely necessary to stop every time i drive by. I also highly recommend going through the museum behind the truck stop, lots of nice old trucks there.
