    1. Randle got injured because Jaime Jacquez made a reckless play
    2. Mitch has been getting injured every year way before Thibs, his playoff injury Embiid INTENTIONALLY injured him
    3. Bogdonavic BARELY got any minutes and then Batum dove into his ankles.
    4. OG has been getting injured his entire career.
    None of these injuries are because of Thibs, and the reason Thibs has been “running his guys into the ground” is because of these injuries all year that had nothing to do with minutes. If Thibs started playing Diakite and Charlie Brown, we would’ve been losing and he’d get heat for that too. So wtf do yall want the man to do? Knicks were dealt the most unlucky, shittiest hand this year, but it’s not because of Thibs

No other sport requires EVERY player to make the amount of motions: runnig, jumping, changing the direction, changing speed, back pedal, potentially diving in every play ? Thats why you have to understand how todays players would wear out older generations. They are moving way too fast jumping way higher, shooting from farther .

      @adrianmorris456 they would 100% get torched if they lose this series. They aren't going to lose those. So they will need to settle with the "you had a cake walk" narrative. Pacers have a good team, but nobody will recognize how good they are because of their first 2 rounds. That said, if they find a way to topple Boston, narrative will most likely change again. So they still got a chance. If they demolished by Boston though, you are definitely getting the "they wouldn't have been there if Bucks and Knicks were healthy" narrative.

    I’m reading these comments and y’all really blaming the coach. Saying he playing these professional athletes to the grown
    How about you blame the players
    For not conditioning themselves
    Not being in the gym
    Let’s keep it real all these injuries have to do with the players not training hard
    They play the game and go home
    We hear now how they don’t really practice anymore

    Don't understand why this is such a big deal. Like Gil said back in his playing days, players routinely played 40 plus minutes. This is the same story with pitchers in baseball. No one pitches complete games anymore. Sports is getting soft.

  • @DJJE928
    @DJJE928 19 дней назад +2

    It’s 2 fold:
    1. Thibs is synonymous with running his players into the ground(I still blame him for D.Rose’s career altering injury)
    2. The game is faster and there’s more ground to cover, so those things compounded with the minutes is a different game than the slow paced, inside the 3 point line game of old.

    I told everyone I know the Knicks should’ve thrown those to home games and just balled out at home. That’s the point of home court. They would’ve had rest and maybe burkes would’ve come alive.

    Thibs is known for riding his players into the ground. The pace of play is different than in the 90s and 00s. The Knicks are definitely feeling the ill effects of playing too much. Players are getting injured and it’s just a matter of time.

  • @justinpelkey429
    @justinpelkey429 19 дней назад

    Here's the thing though, the Pacers can play their pace for 48 minutes BECAUSE they have fresh legs. The Knicks don't condition to defend that because the Pacers don't even condition for that. They lean on their bench.

    Organisations a😢responsible for the league being a injury riddled team. They draft injury prone players year after year and because one is such a “generational talent” they ignore the obvious. We know this but we still force it. AD, Zion, Kyrie,Joel…we knew this coming in then blame them for being unhealthy.
