Hi, I’m a beginner and confused by the liquids you used. You started with gel base curing with light. What base did you use after that ? My confusion is because you used activator and not a light cure. What kind of top coat? You put a layer of clear over glitter, any layers of the pink dip powder over the glitter?

I love the gel method with dip powders. I may have heard wrong, but thought I heard you saying you were using the gel method, then towards the end, you activate. Do you still have to activate when doing it with gel? New at this and got confused. Thanks so much, they are gorgeous!!!!!
I was here for the same answer. I don't think you need to activate if using the gel method. Because the activator is used to dry the glue when using dip liquids? But not 💯 sure lol.

Quick question - did you switch to dip liquids after apply the glitter? You said you had to activate but that would lead me to believe that you did switch. What top coat did you use? Dip or gel? Thanks.
Yes I did switch. I use the Double Dipp'd Dip Powder top coat

Yep! I did dip base layers on the top of the gel. So the activator was to cure the dip layers.
Beautiful! I have a question though, why activate, if as you stated at the beginning, you were using gel liquids? I thought the cure with gels replaced the activator. Thanks!
I used dip liquids for the pink layers :)

I think in all I did 4 of Erica. 3 partial and one full on top

I do dip powder at a salon and I’ve noticed most brands you have to wipe excess activator off before top coating but I see that you don’t do that. Does the product you use not seal up on the brush? What is the specific name of the liquids?
No this top coat doesn't harden easily. It's why it's my favorite!

Absolutely! The sheerness of the color over the top is the biggest factor. I almost did it with darker colors!
Try it with any of the sea glass collection dips!
It would definitely help to know how your nails were prepped before you applied the glitter. It looks like you had hard gel on the bottom
