Generally, solids become more soluble in liquid as the temperature increases, so you may want to try to dissolve it in warm water and then cool it down. Might work better.
Some medications, especially for animals, can very easily be made less effective or completely ineffective by heating them above certain temperatures, so it’s usually better to follow instructions
Yeah, it's... Actually the vast majority of medications that have to be stored and handled at no higher than room temp. When I worked in a pharmacy, our pharmacist had to go nuclear about threatened to write off and sack any medical stock we had that wasn't refrigerated because our ac was out and it was 90 degrees *inside* the building, and corporate got a technician out in 45 minutes to deal with it.

Hey Luke! I have treated my koi with praziquantel powder we always mix the solution with vodka to help fully dissolve it. Sounds silly but it works! Hope this helps next time!! ❤️
Yeah, but bacteria might make deoxigenated tank by overbreeding while consuming alcohol. And he has no plants that would consume that hydrocarbon instead

I always like to have an abundance of oxygen in a quarantine/treatment tank anyway, so there would be so much constant oxygenation that nothing can absorb all of it as fast as it's produced.

First time i did it it caused an outburst of bacteria that regardless or filters, airpumps and plants compeltely deoxigenated the tank. Lost a few fish. Later i decided to go slow and add the spirit in smaller portions before id start doing full portion and yeah, that did the trick as plants had to get used to consuming spirit first.

To help with the difficulty dissolving the powder, I think it would help if you mixed it in a larger amount of water, because there is a maximum amount of powder that can be dissolved in a certain amount of water.
