I always found Scarah Screams aka the Banshee with great potencial for the doll making. She is a Ghost/Fairy and she tends to have her fashion around the 60s. So it could birth a lot of interresting designs.

I feel like we definitely *need* robecca, spectra, operetta, ghoulia, and some others, including mansters to get things right. I really really want elissabat, kiyomi, jinafire, catty, skelita, viperine, honey, ahhh there's a lot to love in MH characters!
As for why, honestly aesthetics for most of them, but i really love a lot of their stories and tbh especially the ones involved in the arts really move me!
Wydowna Spider would be my choice. She only got 2 dolls (one being a SDCC exclusive, so it's really more like one), only appeared once or twice in the movies, had kind of a bigger role in the Ghoulfriends book series, but even there she got totally shafted and didn't get to do much. For such an awesome looking character she deserved SOOOO much better and absolutely needs to come back.
Operetta has been my favorite since the 1st time I ever seen her, and I have always said that Nefera was prettier that Cleo, but the new G3 Cleo is going to be hard to beat, bc she's gorgeous ❤❤❤❤.
The whole Freaky Fusion/Haunted new characters were so iconic and well designed, I would really like to see how would they manage to incorporate their motifs
OMG YES I know I’m two years late but they’re some of my favorite dolls ever. I loved the Haunted characters and I adored the fusion dolls. Especially Sirena and Avea. We never got many dolls like them ever again 😭
You know what would be the perfect thing for Venus’ comeback? Monster High x Waste Management Inc. (or any other recycling company) which will give us a Venus doll that would be made 100% out of recycled materials!!! And maybe even a recycling commercial or episode with Venus where she tells about the importance of recycling!
I would love to see C.A. Cupid comeback. I missed out on her doll and she has such a lovely design along with my top favorite Sirena Von Boo. But like, i would love in general if they brought back a lot of character but cycled them around for releases

I would love to see a Peruvian mummy character that could be friends with Marisol and show a different type and temperament of mummy. Like maybe she’s really shy and comes off as aloof but she is really sweet when she’s comfortable around people. Not that I’ve given this any thought. 😅

I’d really like to see River Styx comeback or at least another grim reaper character. My favorite characters are usually more gothic but still have a pastel palette and I never got a River doll😢

I think we ABSOLUTELY need Gigi Grant in the new Monster High comeback. She’s just such a cool character and doll and I would love to get more of her story (and Whisp’s too)! Although I might be biased too because 13 Wishes is one of my fav movies and Gigi was my first Monster High doll along with Clawdeen.
We need a pharoah doll! I loved his character so much and I think it would of translated so well into a doll, especially their already being less male monster high dolls

Great list! Although two more characters I’d like to see come back are Elissabat and Viperine. They had such good designs, and Elissabat had a really compelling story but too little screen time in the movie.

Venus's personality always confused me whenever she was portrayed. In the webseries Venus was a down-to-earth kind and whole-hearted girl who had a soft disposition and is very kind. Meanwhile her journal and in the book series "Ghoulfriends" Venus is described as "being loud and in your face", sort of pushy and often uses her pollen power to forcibly manipulate others into recycling, which is a flaw she has a hard time controlling. Honestly the latter description is something I personally relate to, as someone who struggles with my own temper and I hope if Venus does return she will have a personality more accurate to her doll's journal and the book series. However, I kind of doubt Monster High will go that route considering that the webseries and the movies are more canon... which is a shame.

The rebbot (the 2 movies we shall not name) literally just got rid of SO MANY characters that played integral roles in the monster high universe and just pretended they didnt exist... Robecca, Ghoulia, Howleen, Cupid, Heath, Holt, Jackson, Jinafire, Skelita, Nefara, Bloodgood and Spectra to name a few that were just completely cut... Not to mention the ones that basically got reduced to background characters and/or characters that only appeared in that weird 3d cartoon series that looked like a roblox animation... Venus, Toralei, Abbey, Deuce, Rochelle, and operetta I hope the new reboot can do these characters justice and give them actual purpose again
@@8bitbarbie163 the animation for the webisodes looks really weird, it looks like the drawing style that was popular when i was 10 and it almost feels rushed or unfinished, the old animation was way better. Personally i liked the older 3d animation more than the new but i think it has to do with them looking bit too baby like or that it kinda reminds me to the design of paranorman and i really dont like that style

Viperine is Deuce's cousin. Their moms are sisters. But her mom is a gorgon but she doesn't have the power to turn people to stone, only Medusa had that power/curse. So that os why Deuce inherited it and wears full sunglasses and Viperine only wears tinted ones.
I really do want more background on characters who don't get enough screen time 'cause they're just so interesting. I hope they get Valentine a redemption arc 'cause he isn't all that bad and I'm sure fans would like him more if they did that.
I'm so glad my girl Kiyomi made it to the list! Aside from the characters you already mentioned, I also want them to bring Spectra, Rochelle, Operetta and Viperine back (I'm assuming Twyla and Abbey WILL be in the reboot, they can't just get rid of those two).
I love Monster High. Each character has a story that is intriguing. The main theme is individual identity and diversity. I would love to see more of Monster High. I would like to see more of a witch background and more humans introduced or cross over. It would make it interesting to see the growth from both sides.
We need more elisabat also. Maybe we could slightly change some of the law for valentine like maybe wisp set valentine and I think it was castas brother up that would be so adorable and good for her redemption arc
I think Luna Motthews would be a fine addition. Similar to Elle we only have two dolls of her, but she deserves way more. She has articulated wings and unique body sculpture. I would love to see a movie with Operetta, Honey AND Luna. Also the red carpet line you mentioned would be fuller with Luna in it.
I remember loving Jackson and Holt a lot. And when I read the Jekyll and Hyde book (and I admit I partly read it bc of MH haha) I loved the fact that they existed even more. I hope we get to see more of them :'3

as a peruvian i think marisol desing is so beutiful they trully captured the eyes and sight of people from cuzco, what i dont like about her is that big foot isnt much of a think to peruvian mitology which is v rich w monsters and legends that could had been used

They're great potential fpr biracial representation, and also essentially embody being a system with DID. Neither of them are really treated very well in the original series, so this could be a great opportunity to demonstrate some of the nuances that come along with that. (:
Possibly a missed opportunity is making Skelita Calaveras related to La Catarina since it’s pretty clear that she is inspired by El Dia de los Muertos a Mexican holiday and since La Catrina is also a figure from that holiday it would of been a really nice idea!

I’ve never been so in love with a collectible before, let alone a toy, and especially not dolls! I’ve got over 400 MH in storage waiting to be brought back out and either played with, stared at, or sold to the highest bidder (I couldn’t sell them all though!) I’ve been holding my breath (yes, blue face for years!) thanks to you Clawdeena, and I’m sure your a big part of them coming back! Can’t wait! I want not only the 25 you listed, I WANT THEM ALL… ;)

As a Arab I can admit that Gigi has always stood out to me because of her style that matches most if not all modern Arab outfits/makeup etc In the doll world I always noticed this huge gap of Arab dolls minus fulla I'm slightly disappointed that Mattel only made one Arab doll and i feel like with Gigi's scaritage they can make her rock some more outfits straight from doombai and many other countries of the middle east and maybe give us more of her backstory I would love to see all of the character in the video make a comeback I feel like Twyla and Wydowna should come back as well Both very unique with wonderful features (Twyla's glow in the dark eyes and Wydowna's extra limbs) Not to mention how they are very unique story wise too

I would love to see more on Purrsephone and Meowlody. We got to hear them talk in Lagoona’s movie. And they were getting more dolls so I wanted to see what they had planned for them.
I kinda disliked great scarrier reef because of the many VA changes. Lagoona sounded all squeaky and whiney so that actor was definitely not Australian and did a bad job imitating an Australian accent. Also idk why they made lagoona have stage fright she was shown in fearleading and stuff in the webisodes they just wanted an excuse to make an under water movie and sell mermaid dolls

I’d love to see Johnny Spirit made into a doll, as well as a rerelease of Finnigan Wake! I’d also love for the dolls in the Skullector line to become fully fledged characters in MH webisodes and movies!
If Johnny Spirit returns in G3, my guess is that he will be portrayed as a former school bully and delinquent who now plays music to cope with his stress.

I would LOVE Finnegan Wake to return. I fell in love with his design and his representation of disabled people and that not being able to stop him from doing dangerous things he enjoys. How people shouldn’t treat him like he’s helpless just because he’s in a wheelchair. Hands down one of (if not) my most favorite monster high character in the whole series 💙

Personally I'd think it would be so cool if they did some crossover with the book series, i was totally obsessed with them growing up and something like the Carver family as a doll set would be such a fun throwback for us OG monster high fans!! Especially since we never got conformation what they actually looked like!! There were so many characters in those books that we never got to see or hear from again i feel like there is so much potential in bringing them back!!
I wish Andy Beast and Heath Burns would get more attention. They are such interesting characters, especially Andy. Edit: I completely forgot about Jackson and Holt! Jackson is still one of my favorite characters in the whole series. He NEEDS more love!

I think we ABSOLUTELY need Gigi Grant in the new Monster High comeback. She’s just such a cool character and doll and I would love to get more of her story (and Whisp’s too)!
Although I might be biased too because 13 Wishes is one of my fav movies and Gigi was my first Monster High doll along with Clawdeen.

Great list! Although two more characters I’d like to see come back are Elissabat and Viperine. They had such good designs, and Elissabat had a really compelling story but too little screen time in the movie.

Venus's personality always confused me whenever she was portrayed. In the webseries Venus was a down-to-earth kind and whole-hearted girl who had a soft disposition and is very kind. Meanwhile her journal and in the book series "Ghoulfriends" Venus is described as "being loud and in your face", sort of pushy and often uses her pollen power to forcibly manipulate others into recycling, which is a flaw she has a hard time controlling. Honestly the latter description is something I personally relate to, as someone who struggles with my own temper and I hope if Venus does return she will have a personality more accurate to her doll's journal and the book series. However, I kind of doubt Monster High will go that route considering that the webseries and the movies are more canon... which is a shame.

The rebbot (the 2 movies we shall not name) literally just got rid of SO MANY characters that played integral roles in the monster high universe and just pretended they didnt exist... Robecca, Ghoulia, Howleen, Cupid, Heath, Holt, Jackson, Jinafire, Skelita, Nefara, Bloodgood and Spectra to name a few that were just completely cut... Not to mention the ones that basically got reduced to background characters and/or characters that only appeared in that weird 3d cartoon series that looked like a roblox animation... Venus, Toralei, Abbey, Deuce, Rochelle, and operetta I hope the new reboot can do these characters justice and give them actual purpose again
To be fair, the reboot animation was a big improvement over the old style. Still no excuse for them to jilt my girl Robecca.

@@8bitbarbie163 the animation for the webisodes looks really weird, it looks like the drawing style that was popular when i was 10 and it almost feels rushed or unfinished, the old animation was way better.
Personally i liked the older 3d animation more than the new but i think it has to do with them looking bit too baby like or that it kinda reminds me to the design of paranorman and i really dont like that style

Viperine is Deuce's cousin. Their moms are sisters. But her mom is a gorgon but she doesn't have the power to turn people to stone, only Medusa had that power/curse. So that os why Deuce inherited it and wears full sunglasses and Viperine only wears tinted ones.
I really do want more background on characters who don't get enough screen time 'cause they're just so interesting. I hope they get Valentine a redemption arc 'cause he isn't all that bad and I'm sure fans would like him more if they did that.

I love Monster High. Each character has a story that is intriguing. The main theme is individual identity and diversity. I would love to see more of Monster High. I would like to see more of a witch background and more humans introduced or cross over. It would make it interesting to see the growth from both sides.

We need more elisabat also. Maybe we could slightly change some of the law for valentine like maybe wisp set valentine and I think it was castas brother up that would be so adorable and good for her redemption arc
I think Luna Motthews would be a fine addition. Similar to Elle we only have two dolls of her, but she deserves way more. She has articulated wings and unique body sculpture. I would love to see a movie with Operetta, Honey AND Luna. Also the red carpet line you mentioned would be fuller with Luna in it.

I remember loving Jackson and Holt a lot. And when I read the Jekyll and Hyde book (and I admit I partly read it bc of MH haha) I loved the fact that they existed even more. I hope we get to see more of them :'3

as a peruvian i think marisol desing is so beutiful they trully captured the eyes and sight of people from cuzco, what i dont like about her is that big foot isnt much of a think to peruvian mitology which is v rich w monsters and legends that could had been used

I’ve got over 400 MH in storage waiting to be brought back out and either played with, stared at, or sold to the highest bidder (I couldn’t sell them all though!) I’ve been holding my breath (yes, blue face for years!) thanks to you Clawdeena, and I’m sure your a big part of them coming back! Can’t wait! I want not only the 25 you listed, I WANT THEM ALL… ;)

In the doll world I always noticed this huge gap of Arab dolls minus fulla
I'm slightly disappointed that Mattel only made one Arab doll and i feel like with Gigi's scaritage they can make her rock some more outfits straight from doombai and many other countries of the middle east and maybe give us more of her backstory I would love to see all of the character in the video make a comeback I feel like Twyla and Wydowna should come back as well
Both very unique with wonderful features (Twyla's glow in the dark eyes and Wydowna's extra limbs)

I kinda disliked great scarrier reef because of the many VA changes. Lagoona sounded all squeaky and whiney so that actor was definitely not Australian and did a bad job imitating an Australian accent.
Also idk why they made lagoona have stage fright she was shown in fearleading and stuff in the webisodes

If Johnny Spirit returns in G3, my guess is that he will be portrayed as a former school bully and delinquent who now plays music to cope with his stress.

Venus was my all time favorite growing up and Holt was always my favorite manster, I can’t imagine the reboot without these quintessential background characters. I would really like if either of them got to play a bigger part in movies or the upcoming show

I would LOVE Finnegan Wake to return. I fell in love with his design and his representation of disabled people and that not being able to stop him from doing dangerous things he enjoys. How people shouldn’t treat him like he’s helpless just because he’s in a wheelchair.

Personally I'd think it would be so cool if they did some crossover with the book series, i was totally obsessed with them growing up and something like the Carver family as a doll set would be such a fun throwback for us OG monster high fans!! Especially since we never got conformation what they actually looked like!! There were so many characters in those books that we never got to see or hear from again i feel like there is so much potential in bringing them back!!
