Goodmorning beauties!!! 🌹 Ok, who’s rocking this style with me? 🙋🏾♀️ Edit: for those that ask for the box braids version of this technique, here it is m.ruclips.net/video/GhUysVRzL3U/видео.html 💕

I've been following you for a while now and this is my first time commenting. I absolutely hate doing my hair because I have no patience and I'm crappy at it (I can't braid to save my life)... But since I've found you, I've grown in confidence so much when styling my hair. And it helps that your hair type is the same as mine. Thank you sooo much. Your videos are life changing for us whose struggle is real. 💖😘
I tried this for the first time yesterday because I can't get to the salon in these Corona Virus times. Now I'm stuck in the house looking real cute , it came out great and didn't take long at all 🙌❤❤🤯
Tanika C same I just ordered me some hair since in the house do it myself. I’ll be with you in two days. I’ll be cute for virtual church and my zoom on Monday 😂

Here for my 11 year old. Gonna do her hair like this tomorrow or Wednesday. *Update* I tried and the twists unraveled from her hair so I ended up doing braids instead of twists.
I am literally about to try this wth Lmaoo. I am so lazy and this looks simple enough for my short hair. I be struggling to grasp my hair enough to make the twist or braid😂

It's impressive to see these new age creative styles on RUclips. Never to old to learn a new and better, easier way. Beautiful job young lady.

I watched this and put them in the next day! I’ve NEVER braided my hair before and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments. Thanks for this video. You gone get me through this quarantine! Imma have a new style every 2 weeks!
The Lord sends you what you need when you need it! I wanted to braid my daughter's hair but I'm not a braider. This came up on my feed and I already have this hair at home. Thanks for posting this I can't wait to try it🥰❤
I almost took scissors to my hair and then stumbled across this video. You saved me from pre-maturely cutting my hair (which would've been dope, but I don't know if I was ready to have short hair again) AND saved me a few hundred bucks and a headache from heavy/ tight braids. Thanks for posting!
I do watch her over and over. I love the technique. I like the jumbo braids that are so long and flowing. I just purchased everything for the braids and cant wait to get started.
Girl! You are the ONLY one where I caught on to the process. I use to braid my hair ( without extensions) a lot in high school, many years ago 😆 I tried to braid my hair (box braids) about 10 years ago and did not come out good, did not try again. I have watched many braiding videos but yours is the best! Just did my hair and it came out great, Thank you💜💜💜💜
FINALLY a method that I can do. I've been looking for a way to do twists that won't cause damage to my hair. Crochets tend to tug too hard and sometimes rip my hair out also. Rushing to the store to get my hair. This is one i can definitely do.

About to walk in the beauty supply store right now and do this style tonight. Watched this method a while ago and never forgot easy and convenient it was... Thank you!
Pretty Brownn Instead of using the rubber band method you can braid your natural hair then crochet in the braiding hair your using from under your natural hair braid then add your hair to it and twist it out. Plat/brad your hair when starting for secure then twist the rest
Thank you Thank you..I some what feel I can do that on my own..I never braid or add twists my self alwqys have to pay, but u showed an easy method...again thank you, ❤✌
I did this style last night! Came out good for the first time! Being at home has allowed me to have more patience and just do it myself 😊 So glad I watched this video!!
I tried this on my neice and it came out soooo cute! I want to add that I have never tried anything like this before ever. This video made it so easy to understand. Thank you so much!
it seems the way you've done it would prevent the weight of the extensions pull on the roots of the natural hair. and as i typed this i hear you specifically say, "it prevents the tension on your natural hair". Magnifico mama!
You're a life saver! I watched this video last night and used the technique today haha. It took me a little over 3 hours ,I used an entire damn jar of shine n jam, and my parts aren't as neat 😂😂😂 but I did it and they don't look half bad lol thank you!
You just literally made my day... I need to do my daughters hair and I'm good a regular styling but I suck at braiding and twisting with adding hair..plus I'm left handed so I always get confused on other tutorials...this was so easy to understand trying it next week!! Thanks😊🙌🏾
Girl! You did that...everytime I think of going to the salon I watch your videos and I'm like I gotta save my coins and do my damn hair.... love from Kenya.

OMG. BEAUTIFUL. YOUR MAKEUP BEAUTIFUL. YOUR NAILS BEAUTIFUL. EVERYTHING WAS ON POINT. THE HAIRSTYLE IS VERY EASY TO DO. I WILL BE DOING IT. PLEASE KEEP THE EASY HAIR VIDEOS COMING. Q:DO YOU DO THE HIGH PONYTAILS WITH THE BANG? THAT WOULD LOOK CUTE ON YOU TOO. I'M SO HAPPY THIS VIDEO CAME UP. MAY YOU BE BLESSED ALWAYS AND BE SAFE.
I thank whoever that liked my comment. You guys I like all the comments you all write they are so loving, positive for the people that are taking out time to keep giving us the videos the comments help them to keep going with their You Tubing. May you all be BLESSED and be SAFE. AND ALWAYS STAY DRAMA FREE JUST ENJOY YOUR LIVES. LOVE YOU ALL.
PLEASE PLEASE don't trim your hair that's sticking out of the braid. Look up how to "tuck" braids. Tucking is such an easy way to hide the hair and keep it protected ❤️ It's how you hide hair in coloured braids. Else your hair's gonna keep getting shorter every time you do this style.
Omg I just found your videos someone shared your link on another hair video and I absolutely love you!! I did braids on myself for thanksgiving first time and I loved them but unfortunately they didn’t last to long they were slipping 😩😭😂 I’m definitely going to try this method! I did the rubber band but not like this I just sectioned off my hair using rubber bands but I’m loving your method placing the synthetic hair in between our natural hair btw I am 3b, 3c hair 😭 hope it worked for me! Thank you thank you thank you!!!❤️
I will be doing this on this weekend! The rubber bands on this are a game-changer. I tried doing it with the old "twist back/twist forward" method and failed miserably. I'm excited!
I never said it was.. The hair and make-up enchanted her beauty. Don't try to turn something positive into a negative. But I shouldn't have to explain this.. Take care.. #1Luv
Twana Patterson “the power of” just made it sound a bit shady as if she needed it. I’m not saying that your intent was malicious but it could be misunderstood . 😊
First of all, let me start by saying, I'm not a "Malicious" person. I don't know how this could have been mistaken when I loved her look. And hair and make-up is powerful, that's why the industries make BILIIONS of $$ off of it. This was in no way an insinuation that this young lady needed the hair and make-up, but it did enhance her beauty. I respect your opinions, but I'm on the level of "Empowering" if I can't say something nice, I don't say anything at all. Thanks for the feedback👍
You are definitely a gift from God, I'm so tired of spending money on getting my hair done, and trying to find the right person to do my hair. You made this look so simple and easy, I can not wait to try this style in my hair!!! Pray for me this will be my FIRST time attempting to use braiding hair .
Mine pop no matter what I do, oil or no oil, they’re made so cheaply now 😭 gets on my nerves. Like I ain’t even finish the style yet and they’re already popping left and right💀

Your instructions in this "tutorial" was perfect. I will be trying this in my mother's hair this week end and I can use this video as a guide. Great video. xoxo
The more I watch you the more I grow and learn about my hair even though I am mix I figured I don’t have white girl hair so it took me a while to relearn that I have Afro hair :) and you give me confidence to keep trying new protective looks if I went back in high school I would of told my younger self girl you can slay :) thank you for shown us young females how to slay our kinky curly hair :) love you
Pejo Alice it was hard fitting in back in my day I didn’t know who I was until now and I thank u Alice for understanding that :) but I learn to accept being black white and Native American so I’m glad I learn a lot about my biracial heritage :) I think my ancestors would be proud :)
@@alissandra_green_offical2047 I totally understand what you mean, I am what some would call 100% African black but even with this I have struggled a lot with my own identity beyond just the color of my skin. To grow up where being dark is not celebrated and our kinky hair was always shaved off in all my school times so I never ever attributed any beauty to my hair. Embracing my blackness is a journey that has taken me decades to appreciate and I am glad that social media has played a greater role too. If you know where you come from, it's easy to determine where you want to go. A blessed day to you.
Girl you got me with this video of yours and another one I watched before this. Your way of attaching the hair is really wonderful and easy to do. Now I have two methods of attaching hair to my girl's hair. Love you already 😘😘
Thanks young lady being wanting to do this twist for soo long just didn’t know how to twist on both sides from previous tutorials seen. The rubber band method is soo easy to help to install. Thanks sooo much your hair is soo beautiful😃
You make it look so simple but when I do it even before I finsh one twist it's already loose and my natural hair is kinda brown...but I'll keep on trying.Much love from Kenya❤️
The fact that your natural hair looks EXACTLY like mine is so encouraging! Length, texture, color, everything lol. Usually on these youtube videos, the youtuber has longer or straighter hair than mine and it makes it hard to relate. I feel like I could definitely achieve this look since our hair is the same. Representation matters for sure!
So glad, I found your channel. I am going to do my mother's hair like this, this weekend and I needed to find a video that explains it well. This was so simple, closeup and ex[plained in proper clear details that I got it but watched the video to the end to see the complete result. thank you. xoxo
If your hair is 4Cish, the rubberbands and beginning of your twist need to be tighter next time. I will do mine loose, like now, when I only want to wear the style for a week or 2. ❤
I always feel like the rubber bands break with in a few days even tho i put oil on them. Is this also something you experience or do you have any other tips to make them last longer ?
If you are afraid of the rubber bands popping, then maybe (oil and) wrap black hair thread around a few times after tightening the hair before you start twisting 🤷🏾♀️
ZC Instead of using the rubber band method you can braid your natural hair then crochet in the braiding hair your using from under your natural hair braid then add your hair to it and twist it out. Plat/brad your hair when starting for secure then twist the rest
Amani Harris You mean the rubberband method? If so, yes it will... I think I have a video on that here too on my channel: m.ruclips.net/video/NmN_WZLGFUI/видео.html 🤔
Yes definitely I did the braids I have in my pic with the rubberband method and I LOVED IT. I did mine and my 2 daughters, one has 3b hair it lasted almost a month, I'm 4a it lasted a month (could've kept it longer but was ready for a change) and my other daughter is 4c and she kept hers for 5 weeks. We were able to was them and everything, hope this helps.
I have been following you for a while now, your hair has certainly grown since I first started following you! You are beautiful, I love your videos and the styles and visual information on how to achieve your hair styles. So thank you! I like this style I think I will try it... Also, Do you have a tutorial on how to part hair for box/twist I like the fact that you only have 24 twists. This is one of my biggest problem parting.
I did everything except using the gel eco-style and was so proud of the fact that I finished it. The problem are my edges (4C hair) can't lay flat and my hair was too spaced. Fine hair. I will try again making smaller parts and braiding hair with a coarser hair for my hair type. Thanks for giving me the confidence, however.
An update: taking out my hair was an issue with the rubberbands. I will get the more slippery rubberbands next time. In fact, I think it is best to avoid using it on my hair. I have since moved on to doing the bantu knots. Great job the first time. I am getting better with styling my hair now and even colored it with henna. These videos are such encouragement especially for our culture.
I'm thinking the same. Thanks for sparing me the pain and anguish. I cringe when I see rubber bands and usually stop watching because my hair cannot withstand the stress and I know they'd slip right off, taking my hair in the process. But something here made me want to try it. Thanks for the rescue! ❤
Thanks for this which "appeared" easy to me. Halfway through & ALL of my rubber bands have popped; FIVE HOURS GONE BY to this point!!😩😩😩....dunno how this has been so easy for others! But hair is normally sump'n I treat self allowing others to do & thought I'd try this. So guess I'm taking them all down & possibly try again by doubling bands🥺🤷🏾♀️ UPDATE- 10hr day for me with this style for a 1st timer doing my hair with extensions as such but I DID IT!🙌🏾 💪🏾 I shall NOT be defeated but anyone PLEASE advise what brand & type bands did you use as I'llbe attempting again? Hoping this will last 2 weeks but already heard some bands popping 😬
This came out so beautifully!! I was the queen when it came to doing this style back in college and I'm gonna go back to doing this style because it's easy, lightweight and my hair grew so much from this hairstyle.
Goodmorning beauties!!! 🌹

How long did it last? Any tips on mainting it?
How did you maintain it?
I definitely will be trying this thanks so much n no one is talking about your nails girl I love it
Riiight‼ That was the 1st thing I saw...and was like, she bout to TURN UP‼‼🤩
I tried this on my neice and it came out soooo cute! I want to add that I have never tried anything like this before ever. This video made it so easy to understand. Thank you so much!
Finally! Someone who has truly shown a simple way to put in extensions. Thank you sister. This looks super cute and I cant wait to try it :)
it seems the way you've done it would prevent the weight of the extensions pull on the roots of the natural hair. and as i typed this i hear you specifically say, "it prevents the tension on your natural hair". Magnifico mama!
Gei
That is so true!!!
You're a life saver! I watched this video last night and used the technique today haha. It took me a little over 3 hours ,I used an entire damn jar of shine n jam, and my parts aren't as neat 😂😂😂 but I did it and they don't look half bad lol thank you!
It's beautiful but too much products clogging the scalp lol
That would me when I try for the first time thanks for letting me know it still will look good..
You just literally made my day... I need to do my daughters hair and I'm good a regular styling but I suck at braiding and twisting with adding hair..plus I'm left handed so I always get confused on other tutorials...this was so easy to understand trying it next week!! Thanks😊🙌🏾
Girl! You did that...everytime I think of going to the salon I watch your videos and I'm like I gotta save my coins and do my damn hair.... love from Kenya.
mercy mercie Yaaaaassss mama 🙌🏾 #mood 💕
mercy mercie Instead of using the rubber band method you can braid your natural hair then crochet in the braiding hair your using from under your natural hair braid then add your hair to it and twist it out. Plat/brad your hair when starting for secure then twist the rest
@@ashleyhenna6201 that's exactly how I do mine coz my hair is super short
C'est très jolie
I love your tutorials! They have helped me learn to do my own twists/crochets/braids over the past few months. 🥰
I saw someone do this method last year on YT and I haven't looked back. This is def a win for us no grip girls.
OMG.
THIS!!!!!!!! I'm running to the hair store NOW and I'm about to try this. Thanks for this video!
How in the world are you doing this so good with your nails? I have to cut mine down or take them off. Good job! 👏👏
You’re sooo pretty 💞 and you’re bomb at doing hair especially w those nails!! Best rubber band method results I’ve seen!
Lol I was going to say the same thing about the nails. Dont know how anybody does ANYTHING with those nails. Great job! 👏
Wow that turned out gorgeous and I wasn't even distracted about how beautiful her nails are. Yall can't ignore those nails.
I’m so amazed at how you started the twist, this is the easiest method for me thank you for this video ❤️
How beautiful
Damn thats pretty i think I'm going to take a break from extensions and wear these and its my birthday! lol
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!
Happy birthday my birthday is Friday the 30th also
Welp.. I'll be doing my little girls hair like this ...this is very pretty
I really need to give this a try because, I need a break from combing my hair every morning lol! I hope I can nail it!! 😆 Wish me luck guys.
God she makes everything look good
Hey... Don't the rubber bands damage the hair especially when you unplaiting?
Not when placed in the oil.
PLEASE PLEASE don't trim your hair that's sticking out of the braid. Look up how to "tuck" braids. Tucking is such an easy way to hide the hair and keep it protected ❤️
It's how you hide hair in coloured braids. Else your hair's gonna keep getting shorter every time you do this style.
This is beautiful queen I'll be trying this protective style next
Omg I just found your videos someone shared your link on another hair video and I absolutely love you!! I did braids on myself for thanksgiving first time and I loved them but unfortunately they didn’t last to long they were slipping 😩😭😂 I’m definitely going to try this method! I did the rubber band but not like this I just sectioned off my hair using rubber bands but I’m loving your method placing the synthetic hair in between our natural hair btw I am 3b, 3c hair 😭 hope it worked for me! Thank you thank you thank you!!!❤️
Since we're stuck in the house, I'll be trying this today. Never braided my hair before but it looks pretty simple and cute! Can't wait to try!
Trying this on my friends hair today
How did it turn out?
Am trying this too
How’d it turn out?
Well?
Hon you slayed this hairstyle even with the nails. I love it.
I will be doing this on this weekend! The rubber bands on this are a game-changer. I tried doing it with the old "twist back/twist forward" method and failed miserably. I'm excited!
The power of hair and make-up.. You look amazing.. Luv it!
There was nothing wrong with her looks before the make-up and fake hair.
Twana Patterson I completely understand and keep up that great energy. We need more of that 💕
I’m definitely going to try this, you’re so creative wow so beautiful and easy 😍😍😍
You are definitely a gift from God, I'm so tired of spending money on getting my hair done, and trying to find the right person to do my hair. You made this look so simple and easy, I can not wait to try this style in my hair!!! Pray for me this will be my FIRST time attempting to use braiding hair .
I agree! How did it go Destiny?
Love it...tried was to spacy. How many rows up did you have? How many in each row? 😣😢☹help a sister out😗😁
I've noticed that when you put oil on rubberbands they corrode and pop in your hair. Or is this just me?
I think at that point it doesn’t matter the twist will be in. I guess you’ll just have to pluck or wash them out🤣😕
Yeah they do but this isnr a style you wanna leave in long enuff for that to happen
Mine pop no matter what I do, oil or no oil, they’re made so cheaply now 😭 gets on my nerves. Like I ain’t even finish the style yet and they’re already popping left and right💀
@@ashleyc4540 💀😭😒 girl yes..the other day I tried a new beauty supply store & I got excited like yes I found the old school rubber bands!! Girl I get home & start to use them..same fukn flimsy elastic bands 💀😂🤨 im like yall mfz got me 🥴 thought I came up 😂😭
O VÍDEO QUE REVOLUCIONOU MINHA VIDA E ME DEU O CONTROLE DO MEU CABELO. CHEGA DE PAGAR CARO ! EU TE AMO MULHER, ACABEI DE FAZER NO MEU CABELO E ESTOU EMPODERADA 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍👏❤️
The twists looks so good💟
Ashley Faithful Awww 🥰 thanks love 🤗💕
You could say this again
This looks so easy ...I'm definitely trying it out tmr
Thank sooo much was going cut off my hair
Your instructions in this "tutorial" was perfect. I will be trying this in my mother's hair this week end and I can use this video as a guide. Great video. xoxo
The more I watch you the more I grow and learn about my hair even though I am mix I figured I don’t have white girl hair so it took me a while to relearn that I have Afro hair :) and you give me confidence to keep trying new protective looks if I went back in high school I would of told my younger self girl you can slay :) thank you for shown us young females how to slay our kinky curly hair :) love you
@Karen B It costs nothing to be nice or simply ignore. She is mixed...and that's her reality!
Now, that was a perfect tutorial. It was worth watching until the last minute
Girl you got me with this video of yours and another one I watched before this. Your way of attaching the hair is really wonderful and easy to do. Now I have two methods of attaching hair to my girl's hair. Love you already 😘😘
Thanks I’m not the type to do my own hair but bc of Corona I can’t leave. This look easy enough for me do. Imma try it!
Destiny Phillips let me know how it goes
Your hair twist looked amazing! And your makeup looked beautiful 🙋♀️💖
I don’t think I have 4c hair but it looks exactly like hers and it’s hella thick. All natural too
This is going to be my first time doing my own hair with weave and this has helped me alot thank you so much
Thanks young lady being wanting to do this twist for soo long just didn’t know how to twist on both sides from previous tutorials seen. The rubber band method is soo easy to help to install. Thanks sooo much your hair is soo beautiful😃
You make it look so simple but when I do it even before I finsh one twist it's already loose and my natural hair is kinda brown...but I'll keep on trying.Much love from Kenya❤️
Everybody going to be rocking the same hairstyle with this easy method lol
I love ♥️ this I will be trying this in the future. I always love your hair videos
Life with Suzzy Q I am excited for you to try it! 🙈 Glad you also love it... thank you 💕
I did this last night it took me hours because my hair is longer and thicker but I love it I got 29 twist in my hair and it's pass my butt.
How long it last
Trying this in the morning, excellent tutorial, I feel like I can achieve this style
This was so simple, closeup and ex[plained in proper clear details that I got it but watched the video to the end to see the complete result. thank you. xoxo
Giiiiirllllll you may have just saved my life. Imma try this.
This was Soo easy. I did my hair and it came out wonderfully using this method
What kind of hair did you use for this style ?
Finally i found my next hairstyle
Thanks for sharing 🙂😊🙏🙏
THIS JUST SAVED MY QUARANTINE!!! Thank you!!!!
I tried this style , it lasted only a week , the roots got loose real quick, but other than that it was cute ❤️
If your hair is 4Cish, the rubberbands and beginning of your twist need to be tighter next time. I will do mine loose, like now, when I only want to wear the style for a week or 2. ❤
My hair started unraveling after two days and my roots were so loose. Not sure what im doing wrong. It was so pretty. Maybe it was the hair I used
I was wondering how long it lasted. Ty :)
Your channel is a blessing to me. My country is on a second lockdown and I am fed up of my hair being untidy during lockdown.
I am going to do my hair this weekend I loved the way you brook it down in detail i feel now i know i can do it
I always feel like the rubber bands break with in a few days even tho i put oil on them.
Plat/brad your hair when starting for secure then twist the rest
use 2 or even 3 rubber bands instead of just one
Don't oil break down the rubber
Could be the brand.
I just love the way you explain exactly how you do your beautiful hair!!! I am planning on getting mine done also. God Bless you!!!!♥️🖤💜❤💚💙💛🧡
Do you think it would work if I tried this style but instead with braids?
Because of the quarantine, I wanted to learn to do my hair by myself, and my Mom recommended to watch you. I can't wait to try this hairstyle myself
Love the style. My hair dislikes heavy extensions
Bonjour sur quelle site on trouve les mèches svp merci d'avance
Thanks for this which "appeared" easy to me. Halfway through & ALL of my rubber bands have popped; FIVE HOURS GONE BY to this point!!😩😩😩....dunno how this has been so easy for others! But hair is normally sump'n I treat self allowing others to do & thought I'd try this. So guess I'm taking them all down & possibly try again by doubling bands🥺🤷🏾♀️
UPDATE- 10hr day for me with this style for a 1st timer doing my hair with extensions as such but I DID IT!🙌🏾 💪🏾 I shall NOT be defeated but anyone PLEASE advise what brand & type bands did you use as I'llbe attempting again? Hoping this will last 2 weeks but already heard some bands popping 😬
This came out so beautifully!! I was the queen when it came to doing this style back in college and I'm gonna go back to doing this style because it's easy, lightweight and my hair grew so much from this hairstyle.
