  • This video shows the full record process of how I make the ceramic sculpture - Transplant series, including the bisque firing, glaze application, and glaze firing steps. It's an exciting process to finally see the glazed pieces.
The first part video includes press molding, coil building, clay handbuilding, and assembling. You can find it through this link. • Making ceramic sculptu...
The last part video shows the bisque firing and glaze firing of the other two pieces in this transplant series. You can find it through this link. • Making ceramic sculptu...
Hi, this is Wanying Liang. I am an artist based in upstate New York. I record the process of how I work on ceramic sculptures. The videos are mostly slow, quiet, sometimes might be boring, but you may find them satisfying to watch, too.
I hope you enjoy and please let me know if you've got any questions down in the comments. Please subscribe to my channel for more videos on ceramic art sculptures.
Thanks for watching and I'll see you soon with a new upload.

    Very beautiful!🤩
But how can you spray without protecting the room!!? At least you can use a back and sides to catch the dust (you can build it from time to time around your glasingtable, cover with damp fabric on the inside walls). Especially since your children sometimes stay in the studio. I'm concerned about your health. ❤😊
Realy like your work. Follow you since a year and I'm always amazed! Thank you!
    Greetings from a fellow colleague.

Thank you so much for the advice and your support. It’s really important to reduce the dust in our studio. I am planning to make a box for spraying glaze these days. Before that I just try my best to clean my studio after glazing.

Both pieces are gorgeous! I especially love the texture on the blue one! What is that glaze?

Thank you. I made the glaze myself, it’s basically adding the blue stain to the glaze you are using. And you need to adjust the ratio of each ingredient depends on the texture you like.
