    My story is that I rarely eat, maybe one medium meal a day at dinner - but over 20 years, I put on a lot of weight (maybe 80lb) mainly due to an amputation and inability to do cardio. I tried diets, I tried keto, I tried OMAD, eliminating sugar - nothing worked.
    I started lifting dumbells a few months back - and started adding a protein isolate twice a day.
    Goodness - the weight is falling off. I suspect it’s the higher protein from the whey, but, also the added Aminos in the blend. As I understand, Leucine/Isoleucine trigger the body to process proteins as lean muscle.

      We love to hear that lifting & adding more protein into your diet got you on the right track with improving your body composition. Kudos, keep going! We are rooting for you.

    I started using bcaas because i am 6'4 225-230lbs and with me still trying to stay in a calorie deficit, fitting all that protein in my diet is pretty hard. Can anyone weigh in on if this is a good idea?

    What if the protein intake isn’t up to the mark? Will this be helpful during workouts then ?

    • @PhysiqueDevelopment

      If total protein consumption is low, I would imagine taking BCAA/EAAs becomes more useful during your training.

    Can bcaa hurt you if you take it too much or if you get your protein?

    • @thespy7795
      @thespy7795 6 месяцев назад

      Yes. You run the risk of excess protein in your body, causing fat cells to multiply.

    The Body stores EXCESS protein as FAT. Once you start excreting protein through the urination process, you're at your excess level.. Your Testosterone will utilize the protein for muscle growth. Overloading will start the beginning of the huge Belly and bloated look if you're NOT putting in the work ( Resistance Training )

    • @bozhidardimitrov3573
      @bozhidardimitrov3573 3 дня назад

      you still need enormous amount of protein excess to convert it into any significant fat amount and it's almost impossible to consume that much protein. You basically cannot get fat from protein, the molecules are just waaaaaay too different

      I realized after years of putting weight on, that perhaps I needed to increase protein (after watching a deep dive on protein and muscle/fat)
      I added a Collagen, that was 85% protein. Very little happened.
      Added a whey isolate, with BCAA, also 85% protein.
      Immediate muscle gain and weight loss.
      The BCAA are the signal to the body of what to do with the proteins?
