So, what do you guys think of the new series format? I hope you all enjoy it! I really love the new structure of the video! Hope you all look forward to more episodes coming soon!
Really love this Format! Not too much, not too less, just right amount of Information! Currently trying to get into N3 stuff so I would love to see more of N3 Grammar in this format! :) Please keep it up Game Gengo! Love your videos they are so helpful!
These videos must take such a long time to make due to having to research the different clips and editing them. Really appreciate it though because I'm struggling with n3 and I feel this series will really help me out!
The shorter format is probably better for the yt algorithm too since it favors more frequent uploads. I think it'd still be worthwhile to compile the N3 series into a long form video like your N5 grammar guide. At any rate, thanks for all your hard work!
This new format is excellent. It's short enough that there's not much of a time commitment required to get some learning in, plus it's not too much information presented all at once, which allows it to sink in better instead of overwhelming the brain. Great work!
@@Finnie1203 Sure I can see how that would be helpful. I'm glad he'll be doing that once everything is done that way it's a big reference. Everybody wins!
@Ken Bailey Yeah, that's a really good point. It'll be a lot easier to knock out an anki deck in tiny chunks as vids are released instead of just all at once. That would be far too daunting for the entirety of N3 haha.
I love the amount of time you spent describing every use case for different grammar points! I didn’t realize it with the long form but having a smaller video allows me to have better control finding points in the video while scrubbing through! If you ever made a podcast as well, I would be all over it!
Thank you so much for these, just finished the N4 grammar one and it was extremely helpful even though I already knew most of them, and I'm grateful you've done this series for the level I'm supposed to be studying hahah. These are great for my short attention span.
Just found this channel and I love the concept and format! I know this video is old now but in the future could you include a list of all the music you used in the background? (I'm obsessed with the one that starts at around 3:11. If anyone in the comments knows what it is or what game it's from please let me know 🙏)
This is the best way to prepare to understand this grammar in real life. I recently read these grammar points in a textbook and the example sentences was so much simpler than the examples taken from the games in this video. I think exposure to actual real life Japanese like this is what will do the trick when it comes to learning actual Japanese ^^
A good one for あげる is hxh's starting song. Its last line is 何度でも立ち上がれ! = no manner how many times it takes, stand up completely! Just thought about it while watching your video!
Awesome as always!! Really loving the shorter format, I only have a little time in the mornings to watch these and I tend to forget to go back to finish the longer videos although those are also fantastic. 😊
would you consider changing the colour of the highlighting? For example at 3:16 the text that has been highlighted/hasn't is slightly hard to distinguish for colourblind people. Other than that great video love the content
@@GameGengo No worries at all. I'd recommend just using bold primary colours to contrast the white font you normally have on the rest of the text. The other 3 grammar points later in the video have much better colours, I hope that helps :)
I'm waiting for the day you do some lessons on Legend of Heroes. I'm playing through Hajimari No Kiseki as my first game in japanese and it's littered with text. Almost to much for a guy only 8 months into casual learning.
3:15 I'm not sure if "caught up" or "fish up" are proper English. It looks to me like 釣り上げる is more literal, like you catch the fish then lift it up out the water, don't know if there's an English equivalent for that. Great idea for a channel though, wish I'd had this as a resource when I started out (far too many years ago). Planning on taking N2 next December, probably won't be any N2 videos before then but at least I can brush up on N3 grammar.
@GameGengo ye thanks for your dedication and hard work much respect nice one are you just sticking to games cause you could branch out to films or something but either way the what your doing now in sound
@@ashmorris4067 I'd like to stick to games because its my main passion and also because I don't want my channel to get deleted because some crazy anime company decides one day to delete everything like I see happen to Anime RUclipsrs all the time haha
Personally, I use a textbook for those things. But I can see how this is useful to people who don't. Similarly, your Kanji series; it provides good review but the topic itself is imho best tackled by using an SRS. However what I cannot easily get elsewhere are those language deconstructions as in the FF7R series. Unless I'm playing myself which is infinitely more tiring (and more error-prone). In the end, if you have more ideas for videos than you have time to film and edit, I'd suggest you make those that are the most fun to you making. Whichever of your formats that may be. Looking forward to any of your videos and greetings from Germany!
Oh damn! Thank you so much! I was playing around with different thumbnail styles and must have overlooked that! Thank you so much for letting me know!!

Really love this new format. I know it might be a bit of an ask. Do you have plans to redo the N4 and N5 in the same format.

I liked the superlong ones better, its more useful to have everything in one big video than having all of it scattered across multiple 10 min videos

I come from the future, and all I say is "boku no kioku mo kuzure kakete iru"
You are too good for this world. You have no idea how helpful this series is.
I’m genuinely amazed with your dedication - thank you!
this is the best format.
well done, we need all teaching in this format !
I can't begin to imagine the amount of work and dedication behind these videos. I genuinely appreciate them. Thank you very much.

Great and informative! I’ll be watching your videos every day until I master N3 ^^

Love your work my friend
I love this new format: the added examples and explanations are so valuable!

Yeah absolutely! I'm so sorry! Do you know of any good site to check color palettes that work for people with color blindness?
