I've always viewed それにしても as its own thing and not as それ + にしても. Woah, thanks for blowing my mind haha.

How do you already have footage from the new Yakuza game? Is it from some of the trailers? I'm amazed how you seem to have a database of all of these games scripts and then have footage of the example sentence. Very impressive, please keep up the good work!

@GameGengo Hello! Just wanted to say that your videos are awesome for learning Japanese :)
I've self-studied Japanese since I graduated college, many of the stuff that you talked about were not even covered in my classes. I was intrigued to hear how you explain にしては because in a manga, there is a character who uses it and hearing you say that it's not used when talking about oneself, I wondered if the translation I saw for it was right, because I seem to have come across situations where it can be used. (Example : 私にしてはめずらしく今週末は予定がある)
One translation of that character's line that I have seen used was "Dating vampires is too much *even for me*, yet in Japanese にしては isn't after a first person pronoun. Personally, if I were to say "Even I/ even for me" I would use [私] だって or でも
I'm trying to figure out if that character is actually talking about himself or the person he's talking to in the scene. To give some context, the character is flirty and he says ヴァンパイア?デートにしちゃつまねぇ。 One on hand he could be criticizing the other person but it also fits if he does talk about himself as well. Hope I made sense, would like to hear your opinion, because I have doubts with that sentence given that the emphasis is on デート
