One man on this planet that I'd like to meet and chat song writing with = Matt Thiessen. This band has been my favourite since I was 13. Ridiculously genius songwriting. Love it.
What a special place in my heart this band will always hold. The first band I purchased concert ticket to see. I had to drive to a bigger town about 30 minutes away to a Macy's to buy the tickets at a ticketmaster counter. I bought my ticket with some friends to the Gothic in Denver. The agent let me know there were three tickets left so of course I bought a ticket for my crush. My first time was crowd surfing at this concert. Many firsts to Reliant K.
Relient K, thank you. Thank you for being such a powerful soundtrack to my youth and now, 20 years later, a profound reminder of optimism and hope in these current times of uncertainty. Stay safe, dear friends, and continue to inspire!
