The crochet needle creates the look instantly. Yes. But the process of stabbing your hair with a hooked needle is tearing your strands apart while tangling them. This creates weak "locs" which is why girls have been trying to style them like mature locs and their "locs"just break apart when they take the style down...

Thank you so much! Nothing came undone during the wash & I just use black soap diluted in water to wash my hair 💕
