The more time I spend in my home gym, the more difficult it is to go back to commercial gyms. Everything is where I want it to be, I can blast music that I like, I can make a ton of noise and get crazy when I am going for a big lift, I don't have to waste time travelling to and from the gym but most of all, I don't have to tidy up after all the other fuckers who leave their shit everywhere. The old gym that I used to go to after 10am on a Saturday was an absolute shitshow. I sometimes use it once or twice a month when I am travelling for work and it makes me appreciate just how good having a home gym is.
Your training gym is legit. Rebeka and Lydia happen to be my 2 fav female lifters, but the fact you have Mosquera on there shows love for Colombia. Representing 🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴🇨🇴
I remember a SUPER long time ago I asked why you never used clips! I assumed it was a weight lifting thing or something lol. Glad to hear finally that its bc theyre 250$ which in my opinion is INSANE. Good to see you with the OG intro as well Pope you da best girl

good to hear of the plywood under the stall mats... so many folks dont understand how those prevent slab-cracking by spreading the shock better than the rubber can bcs its mainly for dampening... one good thing for future floor plans is to go w/ 42in for the wood and place the stall mats sideways so you have 6ft btwn the wood (minimizing bumper hits on the nice ply) thus making a more comfortable total working area of 42+2x36=114in=9.5ft so its not too crowded for when you have ppl lifting side-by-side (48+2x24=96in so theres only 6in on either side of a 7ft bar before youre in the neighbors "space")
ZKC was the Olympic barbell in Rio and they will be the official barbell in Tokyo too. And they were the male Olympic barbell in 2008 in Beijing. They don't do so many World Championships but maybe they will be the barbell next year in Thailand for the 2019 WWC.

good job using those bar brackets the better way holding the sleeves rather than the usual way which damages the knurling and risks a catastrophic barbell dominoes

13:27 Have you ever tried the "jumping" version of Bulgarian squats? I mean, with no barbells and making a jump with the leg that is not leaned on the bench? I've tried recently and indeed I feel those muscles more engaged (but I still worry for my knees 🙃).

One does not simply "FINISH" a home gym. There will ALWAYS be something to add / replace.
