I watch all these video about how the shareholders are getting screwed. When you have a company 70 million in the hole with unresponsive customer service, long lead time for products, and a poor website for nothing but direct sales, they are not the first to see the share price tank. I did not realize the extend of the debt that the company was carrying. I just received a CSL DD+ in five working days, the serial numbers were already populated in my account, and I am seeing improvements already. Just because the ex-CEO was passionate does make for a sustainable business plan. There is robust markets for simulation gear (go read the business projections) and I think Corsair will invest to create a a long term, stable business plan that grows. I love Fanatec gear (Corsair too) and I am really happy with what they provide. There is nothing wrong with retail sales where high end items can still survive. Successful companies believe in creative destruction (i.e. Apple, for one) to grow to the next level of sustainment. The time is here. It about business.

Fanatec needs to slim down the large amount of products they offer. If the Corsair buyout of Fanatec, people will have very good customer support .

I'm eager to see if Corsair cuts the product line. I'd love to see the sales records on each one of those wheel options. Also, research and development costs for each for each one. I'm a firm believer this is where his problem started. The demand for an overabundance of options was his downfall. I wouldn't think the banks were very impressed with the idea of throwing more money at the same old problem.

Even with all this controversy I took a risk.
I figured Fanatec will survive in some form. I like this option and hope it goes through.
I purchased the Clubsport DD and a wheel side adapter Sunday the 5th of May.
They showed via FedEx Wednesday the 8th of May. So 3 business days to my door. Fastest I’ve ever gotten anything from them.

Fanatec should stop having 4 thousand versions of the same wheels and streamline their product line. Also, boost R&D of highly anticipated products, like new CS pedals, and a new Podium line. Their DD and CS DD lines are well designed and well received, they should build on this momentum. Also, where's Full Force?? Not delivering on this will be the nail in the coffin..

If Corsair really buys Fanatec and kick Thomas Jackermeier completly out of his company i will never buy anything from them. For me it is legal theft and a huge shame what happend here. Yes Thomas made some mistakes but he has done many things right over many years. No simracer should support what happend here.

Thomas is out no matter what (unless he can fight this in court) but the banks are and have been calling the shots for a while now. I totally agree that its legal theft under then new German staRUG (Stabilization and Restructuring Framework for Companies) and It's not just from Thomas as the other 49% of shareholders won't be left with anything to hold either but between a rock and hard place I'd rather see Fanatec under Corsair and live on than be stripped of its assets and IP by some ruthless hedgefund leaving Fanatec customers without support, warranties, any new products or features like trueforce on the DD+. I'm pretty sure no matter what we won't have heard the last of Thomas

Watching GTplanet welcome new corperate masters...🙄The cringe is off the scale...in other news Germany screwing over all the stock holders means no NDA's for Thomas which means he can just go out and start another company while giving Corsiar the finger...if Corsair is smart they will try to retain him because Thomas is the brand loyalty.

The alternative for Fanatec is bankruptcy/insolvency or hostile takeover from private equity. So, yes, we consider a Fanatec buyout from a larger peripheral company with a pretty good reputation to be a welcome result, considering the situation.

Fanatec had a shortwhile liquidity problem. They still have a positive win and best future prognosis.
All what happened here is theft of a huge potential company and disownage of the founder who revolutionized simracing.
Fanatec was never really in danger of bankruptcy. But the CFO was a false snake from day one who wanted to run it down to selll it as cheap as possible
