  • What an awesome sail here had serious fog from Stornoway to about 20nm of the Faroe. Arriving in Tórshavn was just magical this was the start of finding out just how friendly the Faroese people are...I’d say some of the nicest people in the world. Thank you people of the Faroe’s for your hospitality and your country is just stunning. Enjoy the video guys⛵️

Sincere congrats guys! You did it. Getting to the Faroes is a challenge for any crew --- and you succeeded brilliantly. It's a shame you lost the passage video, but that happens to all of us at one time or another. I like your practice of putting out the videos as soon as possible. I usually try to edit the first day back in port, and get it uploaded as soon as I have access to the internet. (I used that coffee shop right across from your mooring spot in Torshaven!) It's much more 'real' that way than editing and showing them 6 months later. Good luck on the rest of the adventure!

Patrick Laine thank you. The wee book you gave me was really helpful for the ports we used it a lot....plus the tide app is great. The sail over was good sea was ok but we had fog from 20nm of Stornoway to about 25nm from Tórshavn. The hard part is getting home now with the dam south winds. Think there is a weather window coming soon but I won’t hold my breath. The people here are so friendly I actually love the place. I haven’t got watching much RUclips here so look forward to catching up with your stuff⛵️

If I'm an advocate for anything, it's to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river. Walk in someone else's shoes or just enjoy watching your vlog's.
