This is our arrangement of the Solfeggio in C minor by Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach, one of the first pieces I learned on the piano. This was inspired by Eugen Ciceros version while still trying to put in our own spices 🙃

If there is any one that should be "Taylor Swift" famous for their talent, it is Luca. Think of all the hours and hours of hard work and dedication to his craft! Well done Maestro!!

I'm crying. Wonderful. Piano sound is also amazing.
1:41 It reminded me "Stiller Beobachter" by Kristjan Randalu, but more - "The Forgotten Village" by Shai Maestro, I don't know why. Yes, and "Procession" by Joel Lyssarides. This tender sound...

The skills are good. However - what theatrical pills did he take? Without the exaggerated theatrics and the enormous sensationalism, it could get really good music. No comparison with Jacques Loussier which had 100% skills, 100 % musicality and 0% artificial theatrics

Bach is rolling over in his grave, but laughing at the same time because he didn't know about jazz, but did use great sycopations. So ultimately Bach will have to come up OUT of his grave and experience modern music. LOL

Guys, thank you for the great rendition! More than of Jacques Loussier and his "Play Bach" trio your piano playing, Luca, reminds me of the great Eugen Cicero, his perfect technique and his entertaining improvisation style. Do you know him and his work?

To my knowledge, Ahmad Jamal was the first jazz player to quote this C.P.E. Bach’s piece in the Awakening album.

Bach is undoubtedly the classical composer most easily transposed into Jazz versions, which was popularized by the Swingle Singers for 50 years. Beautiful interpretation, although I find the pianist a little too show-off…

So many great ideas, packed in such a fast speed. Very talented players, but Id just slow down a bit to let us enjoy harmonic twists properly, not in a rush. Jazz pianist is probably light speed thinker, have a mercy on regular people:) slow down a bit😁 otherwise Bach is always fun to hear in arrangements. Great recording😁😉

So wonderful to see someone pick up and carry the torch from Jacques Louissier! Brilliant playing by all!
The only offering to improve the video would be to hear the bassist’s sound level lifted a bit. Thank you for this video.

Beautiful work, I was hoping to find something exactly like this. It would have been incredible if the drums went a little count Basie toward the end, for base some miles Davis with Bach to build a climax. It sounds great on my onyx 8 but I agree with the comments, the sound mixing needs a little tweaking. Fantastic work all the same.

all this is great, but I don’t understand why the master jumps like a monkey... classic is not just complex tablature, it’s a thought and a feeling. I don’t understand how you can play Bach in the style of a monkey wedding...

Jacques Loussier preceded you decades ago! I believe there are several videos of him playing Bach in a jazz format on RUclips.
