My man! I just did this one today, loved every second of it. Angie is the best! 🙌 🙌 🤘🤘 she is very professional, knowledgeable and patient with a first timer rappel like me, I mean, I have been in many tight slot canyons but never rappelled before, but she got my confidence through the roof on doing it, and I must say, it was a ton of fun 😎🤯🤩. We were a small group of awesome folks too that supported each other👍👍 1000% recommend this activity; actually I am bringing a friend soon, even if I have to drag him here kicking and screaming 😂😂
As usual, you and Tina know all the cool spots, and that is an exceptionally cool spot and adventure for anyone to do! It's on my list next time I'm in the vicinity of Page, AZ. Thanks ya'll!!
OMG so totally doing this! We have done a lot of non technical slots and have always wanted to go more without the committment to technical. This is is the sweet spot to dip your toes and find out if you want more or less. On the bucket list for sure! Thanks so much for this!
Thanks for sharing this Jerry! I understand the arguments for and against allowing these modifications, but it's the decision of the Navaho, and I'm totally cool with that. I'm 75 and have aged out of hard core canyoneering, but this is a realistic option for me. So I will add this along with the East Rim hike for our trip next spring. Your videos are making my Grand Canyon itinerary get longer and longer. It's a lot to cram into a single spring trip. Mostly your fault Jerry! - Steve
I know Tina had not had the best of experience with via ferrata in telluride so it is awesome she loved this. You guys allow us to live vicariously through you. So cool!
Jerry, we both enjoyed the Antelope Ridge Adventures after seeing your video! It was amazing and very worthwhile! Our guide was very informative and experienced. She made the adventure enjoyable for everyone. I (Michelle) had a couple of really! Repelling was a first for all of us. Ed did the Basecamp Ouray Via Feratta again this year. It was his 4th time. Thank you for sharing and inspiring us to get out and see our country!!
Don't worry; no slot canyoning when it rains. That part of your description had me cracking up. This looks pretty fun, and it's good to see them taking care of the area. I'll take a look at their schedule (and mine) and try to plan to get up there soon. Thanks, Jerry!
Never thought I’d see an auto belay used in this kind of setting, that’s pretty cool! Near experience on what otherwise maybe wouldn’t be as accessible for some. I like seeing inclusive experiences like this. Nice dude!
Been to Powell many times boating and desert and water are magical be it by boat or be it by foot. That really looks like fun. Lived in the southwest my whole life and moved to the southeast and love the hiking and the people. But your videos Jerry are making me go through desert withdrawals. Stop it Jerry Stop it. No just joking keep up the great work I’m just going to have to fly out next spring and get my desert fix 😊
@@JerryArizona For your viewers we really appreciate and enjoy your videos. Now if there was a cologne called sage after a rain I’d use it to tide me over til next spring when I head west to visit my daughter.
That looks neat. Thanks for sharing! I can understand why some may react negatively, but it sounds like it's a good use for an area that was off-limits and neglected. Dad jokes are always appreciated and should be encouraged. :)
To quote a kids movie "THAT IS TOTALLY WICKED!!!". I can't believe how reasonable the cost was and the views were spectacular. I hope the business is successful. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing video! I've been dying to go back to Page and Lake Powell. I have never done Antelope canyon because it's too touristy, but this looks amazing! Cheers from Tucson
I was just out there and wanted to do this so bad but unfortunately they weren’t open on Sundays! Maybe next time I guess. Looks so fun. I think if they are maintaining the canyon then there’s no issue with having this be an attraction! Like you said before it was being neglected and now people can truly enjoy the land 😊
That was amazing, loved that. Looked like Antelope Canyon at the bottom ? I take it was on private and not Navaho land ? That facility would take some hard work to create too.
They should do this everywhere. Then we could climb El Capitan and Half Dome and other places like them. Then they can have zip lines in order to make it easier and fun to get back down!
I saw this a few weeks ago and waiting for the zip-line course to be completed next year. Then I'm making my adventure pals do this with me. MATT I know you'll watch this video.
Totaly against most canyoneers ethos, but its a neat idea for private land. I think paddle or peg shaped steps would hold up better; less prone to collecting sticks and chockstones in the flood season.
I get it -- but I also read the entire video description, which I think adds some important context to the alternative of the via ferrata being in this specific canyon.
I would 100% agree if this was a canyon on public land. But it looks to be on Navajo land. So it's their own private land to do whatever they want to it. I just hope no one ever does this to a canyon on public land.
Like I said in the description, I won't try to argue it one way or another. This is not my land and therefore not my call. I could never have seen it if the via wasn't built. But I definitely don't want to see permanent man-made structures like this rampantly spreading into a bunch of areas.

yikes!! So much fun living vicariously thru you guys. Thanks🥰
Another awesome video guys!! Definitely goin on the to do list! Glad to see ya back in action 💪😎
This looks like an awesome experience! It's on the list now! Thanks for sharing.
Amazing!! Thank you for sharing, I hadn't heard of the Adventure Park. It's on my list now!
Wow very cool thanks for sharing I am going to have to check this out!

This is a great option to see if you'd like canyoneering, for sure.
Man, that looks like a heck of a lotta fun!
It was probably more fun than walking from Badwater Basin to Whitney!
@@JerryArizona different kinda fun 🥵😵💫🤯
Another winner
I don’t know what you’re using for photography equipment but wow stellar stuff thanks again, man. I loved it.
This was all GoPro. It got pretty shaky down in the dark sections, but does a great job otherwise.

Amazing, beautiful place thanks for sharing
Always look forward to your new videos! Adding this to my list of things to do.

Oh wow! Another adventure that I am now inspired to try bc of y’all! Thank you, can’t wait!

That's one of those 'do as I say, not as I do' type of statements coming from me.
Thank you Jerry, looks really fun. Would love to try it.

It was a fun little adventure. And the canyon is beautiful. Check it out next time you're in the area.
You and Tina always do the coolest shit! Another great vid! Keep em coming!
Cool video Jerry. Thank you for sharing.
Oh and to answer your question - it is the perfect amount of cheesy 😉
Awesome and Unique! Nice work Brotherman!

I was just saying how lucky I am to live here. Absolutely love the Southwest.

I thought their pricing was a great deal too. Really fun for a half day adventure.
This looks like so much fun! I haven't made it up to Page yet but I've wanted to go for a long time.
Looks pretty sick!
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

Hell yeah!! 😱🤩😍🤘🤘🤘🤘
Looks great!
Thanks. I was in Page last year and wish I knew this existed. Looks like I need to go back!
We are brand new, just opened in July. Come on back and see us!
Wow!
Wow. Great to know. As if the Antelope slot canyon wasn't already breathtaking enough? Thanks!
Looks fun!

Jerry thanks for the information. I will be doing this in November 2024. You have inspired me to visit Zion,Brice and other interesting places.
Hey! Think I saw you on West Fork last weekend, didn't want to bother you out hiking but love the content!
You might have. I was showing my buddy Clint around AZ. Feel free to say hi if you see me again
That was amazing, loved that. Looked like Antelope Canyon at the bottom ? I take it was on private and not Navaho land ? That facility would take some hard work to create too.
This is located on the Navajo reservation. Our family has leased land from the Navajo Nation.
Nice. I’ll be doing that
man, if only this was posted a month ago....was just in that area and would have definitely done that slot tour
We’re going to be busy next time we go to Page!
They should do this everywhere. Then we could climb El Capitan and Half Dome and other places like them. Then they can have zip lines in order to make it easier and fun to get back down!

Not a rock or daredevil person or heights but this looks fun especially to get into extreme stuff
Wow! Your videos never disappoint! Where is the best place to live in Arizona to be close-ish to all your adventures?
Probably Flagstaff or Page. I'm in Phoenix and spend a lot of time driving up north.
That looks like a blast! Is it pricey?
Darn. I can't afford it 😫
Just added that to my to do list. What time of year did you go?
I think this was late September.
Totaly against most canyoneers ethos, but its a neat idea for private land. I think paddle or peg shaped steps would hold up better; less prone to collecting sticks and chockstones in the flood season.
Growing up in Lechee, where this canyon and many others are, outside of Page. Kinda sad to see what's happening.
I’m a bit too claustrophobic for this. Looks cool though.
Looks fantasticJ erry. Do you have a discount code for the booking site?
Sorry. No discount code for this one.
No elevator or drink/snack bar?
I was scared even watching it.
I like your vids, but this one... kinda not so much. I can't see all that steel/cable drilled/glued in that environment. Not right to me. Sorry
It’s easy to poke at stuff and not realize that your house did more damage to the environment then this. 🤷🏻♂️

Why would you deface such a beautiful slot canyon by driving all those bolts into it? A crime.
