Another awesome day on the water. That was one hell of a fish too. I haven't seen one that big since I was a kid.
I caught one similar to that size a month ago on the cow. Been fishing for 15 years and never seen one that big. The adipose fin was massive!

I got a +40lber in a river on southern van island this year
Walked down to my favorite hole the other day and ran in to Nick and Dave anchored up already fishing it. Had a nice conversation and turned around. You aren’t gonna clean a hole up after these two already worked it.

The biggest ones that I ever saw was when I cleaning them at a plant in Alaska. We had some that we weighed that were low sixty pounds. They had a record halibut that there at the plant that was so big it wouldn't fit in a tot. That was from the Bering Straights nothing that big were I worked. Our prices were higher on fish so they went all the way down to us to sell a boatload (giant) of fish.

Go back in the catalog. They have a ton of videos explaining exactly how they set up and fish all their rigs. Search something like adicted fishing float fishing tutorial

You gotta go to the Fraser river in Canada, each time my dad goes he gets a 30-60 pound king salmon. He also catches 20 pound sockeye. I'm not lying lol

Great episode ! I love fishing, I know of a place that has 35 to 40 lb fish are at I've caught a few of them and scaled them was so amazing to see huge piles of fish like that
