Big Dave and Nick are everything on this channel. Not to forget Sean the camera man and whoever edits these fascinating videos. And Jordan with the Stay Fishy series. These guys are the real meat and potatoes of the channel. Thanks Marlin for bringing these cast of characters together but they are the real focus. Please do everything you can to keep them loyal to you. They are your whole channel. And...instead of posting the %'s off merch, can you please post Big Dave's Go Fund Me page in every video you produce until he has enough funds to rebuild his guide camp in Alaska? Seems like the proper thing to do. Let's go Big Dave!
Love seeing big Dave back in Oregon! Saw his kid on Saturday hook a fish. Great people! Did a big Dave twiddle and bobber down! Dude is a stud! Can’t wait to see him on the river soon!
Walked down to my favorite hole the other day and ran in to Nick and Dave anchored up already fishing it. Had a nice conversation and turned around. You aren’t gonna clean a hole up after these two already worked it.
Thats awesome guys!! Nice fish great seeing these big fish around some rivers this year hopefully that will just get better for years to come, from these bigger ones coming up and doing there thing this year
Hey guys I was wondering if you have or can do a video on rod reel line and how you set your float please. I have recently been trying floating fishing but can’t seem to nail it down and was wondering if you have a tutorial on it
Go back in the catalog. They have a ton of videos explaining exactly how they set up and fish all their rigs. Search something like adicted fishing float fishing tutorial
In the 2024 fall salmon season, we caught a at least 23 Lbs fish. It was just a Mirical to see that fish because the last time I saw a fish like that in person was when we were Springer fishing in 2024 caught an 18 Lbs fish. We were pretty sure it was a misclip but since it was just such a rare sighting considering that we last saw a springer like that was a 25 Lbs Native in 2021. So, we let it go. And seeing that fish that nick caught reminds me so much about memories of catching giant fish. And the thrill of seeing giant springers in 2020 when we could go to scapose and land a 14 Lbs springer no problem. It is just that over the years it becomes more and more rare to see them like it used to be a every trip sighting. But now it is a one in a year sighting. Hope you catch more fish in the future!
The biggest ones that I ever saw was when I cleaning them at a plant in Alaska. We had some that we weighed that were low sixty pounds. They had a record halibut that there at the plant that was so big it wouldn't fit in a tot. That was from the Bering Straights nothing that big were I worked. Our prices were higher on fish so they went all the way down to us to sell a boatload (giant) of fish.
You gotta go to the Fraser river in Canada, each time my dad goes he gets a 30-60 pound king salmon. He also catches 20 pound sockeye. I'm not lying lol
Take a picture then meaure the length and girth. After you let that beauty go with the length girth. Afterwards, the picture with the length and girth you can have a trophy made. 😊

George Booney. lol
awesome video as always. Why does he always wear gloves? Cold weather? Handling roe?
Ya, to protect his hands from the elements & chemicals in the roe.

You can book with Big Dave or Popov

Dave or Nick. What type of spinning rod are you using. 9 ft 10 -30 line weight what size reel and make. Great episode.
George Clooney, not really. Maybe a reincarnated Wolfman Jack, but you Sir, are no Clooney.

Did anyone notice that coho had a black back like a steelhead
I think Nick used every excuse in the book on that net job

that's a big fish but there is zero chance its 40 pounds.
Clooney?!..trying to be a cloney.. not worth presenting; compared to the action..
I gotta tell you Addicts the black gloves on Popov kinda ruined the vibe a touch but still great stuff! Let’s keep him in uniform.
@peelthereel Great fish! Good work.
Boot fish. To bad it doesn't have scales on it.
