I just don't know how you do it! I can actually copy everything pretty accurately but do not have the talent to figure out colours and blending for myself. Though have improved a great deal. Thanks for the inspiration as always 😊
Clare Birschel you may be overthinking it. If you can put down the colors, then that’s 90% of it. Try looking at an apple under a single bright light. See how many shades of green or red or yellow you see. How many different shades of the same color are there? Where do they meet? It’s mainly training your eye. If you still don’t see it, try taking a picture and changing it to grayscale. Then look at the shadows and light and where they meet. You’re closer than you think!
