Hi to Chris Cheng! I'm so fascinated at the attention you give to all your backgrounds---most people seem to think of a background as something to just fill in. You treat the background like a star! I love the combinations of colors you use, and the small spots you leave as tiny lights or fireflies or angel spots! Going to work on one of my backgrounds now, inspired by your work!!!

Hey Chris! I've seen quite a few of your videos now and I just wanted to express how much I love them. They're so beautiful! The way you color is amazing. And I really like that you show us your coloring at a reasonable pace. I'm not trying to put down the artists that do speed tutorials (I know you do some yourself), but I just can't seem to follow along with those ones. I love the relaxed pace of your videos and the fact that you physically display what color you're using at the time. It makes it so much easier to understand and follow along with what you're doing. I feel like I've learned so much from you already. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Keep up the incredible work! :)

Great work.....like the way you choose your colors in regards to values/shadows and consistency of where the light is coming from. Just curious as I too have the 150 pencils......with you constantly using your pencils do you go out to replace the pencils as needed on your own or are you supplied by Prismacolor......figure each pencil is over $2 each.....and that adds up
