This is wonderful. Need one for every counter clown who manages to screw it up and we waste driving time. Drive around again after paying for a screw up. Make their video less than 20 seconds so they can watch it as needed and cost me 20!seconds to a minute versus 10-15minutes. Thanks

I think the Scale workers all need to be retrained. The other day, I had a single steel beam, roughly 10k pounds, and the scale ticket printed 50k gross weight. There have been many times with full loads the scale will show my gross weight as 100k - 110k pounds. I almost always have to do another reweigh.
I pull a 48’ spread flatbed with a cascadia sleeper cab and I can always weigh in a single take. Pulled a 53’ stepdeck with a volvo before - same thing. This may be necessary only for trucks with excessively long wheel base
The way I've always done it is pull on the scale both rear axles, then get a weight on 2 and 3. Seems to be the most accurate. Get total weight and your splits.
The "CAT certified weight master made made me go through this procedure for a 4 plataform scale 🤦♂️ my 80.000 pounds printed out as 96000 . Scale 2122
Hello - If you would have any questions on how a Weighmaster has you weigh, please give us a call at 877-228-7225, ext 6 to help them walk you through the process.
road dog evidently you’ve never had to do this at a cat scale before. Usually when you tell them you need a split weigh, they have no idea what you’re talking about.
Everyone starts somewhere, the only thing you've accomplished is showing how much of an ass you are. How do you expect the industry to keep going if no new drivers start somewhere?
You need to make a you tube video that teaches the people in the truck stop how to do this on their end!

Does the ticket mention both trailer axles?

This is for when you want individual weights of your splits. It's not to know total weight of truck/trailer/cargo
Does your rear axel need to stay off the scale for the first weigh?
