Andrew - the tone on your intro recording is fan-freakin-tastic. I feel like I'm in the room with you. WELL DONE! (doesn't hurt that the playing is quite nice as well...)
ah thanks man! appreciate that. The Lauten mic did a lot of the lifting - the perks of being around some great producers in this new space ha. But yeah , stoked to hear that as I was hoping to capture as much of that aura as possible.
Sounds really great. Well recorded of course. I picked up my youngest’s Tanglewood cutaway nylon that we played less than £300 for and it sounded incredible.
Greatest job on the intro sound. Interested to hear how it sounds with some different effects. It would also be interesting if you could incorporate the condenser mic into the pedal effects as well.
I’ve always wanted a slope shoulder acoustic because they’re so comfortable but I’ve never been able to own one. I have an Oscar Schmidt 12 string that I just listed for sale to buy one of these because man that sounds amazing. I need one I love Guild acoustics I have two and F250 CE jumbo And a regular all solid mahogany acoustic that I can’t remember the model name of and they are both incredible. Looks like it’s time to add another one to the collection.
totally. I think the tone boss works well in this guitar for some unique tones. The piezo thing is uninspiring , but with this pickup it really does unlock some fun avenues to pair with electric effects and gear for some cool sounds.
Lovely. Looking forward to hearing what you come up with when you plug into your ambient board & mode. Have you played the Starfire l Jet (p90)? It sounds like a winner to me
I've been waiting for someone to demo this, so thank you. Very informative, great sounds.
Glad to hear it, and thanks for watching!
I have a guild acoustic I bought a few years ago. I'm impressed every day I play it. Fantastic.
love to hear it! their acoustics have always been on my radar, even the vintage stuff is still fairly approachable and really cool.

Would like to see you talk about Guild's new 300 series as well, cheers!
Will see what strings I can pull! Any specific model?
@@AmbientEndeavors The OM-320 and D-320 look like very vibey models!

That’s awesome! Glad it’s inspiring you, these are really fun guitars and you're right - the slope shoulder just feels right when I'm playing it.
wow, i need this guitar in my life !!!
Can confirm: it’s awesome!
I think it’s great that Guild doesn’t just do what everybody else does and slap a cheap piezo into it.
