WHO WE ARE
SkyFi Audio is a small startup business specializing in the purchase, reconditioning, and reselling of select high end audio equipment. We only buy equipment that we admire and are passionate about. No mid-fi, no gimmicks, and no junk.
Each piece of equipment is cosmetically restored and fully tested in our well-equipped lab by an engineer with 30+ years of experience in the HiFi world. If it does not meet or exceed the original manufactures specifications, it will not be sold. We are very selective about the equipment we purchase, focusing on mostly analog, high-build quality, American, and European built units.

Check the packaging I am sure I saw one on another site that had a lever that went on the power switch to make it look more like the album cover. See the last picture on the manual.
Still, the plate around it makes it look ugly as hell. Thankfully it's not in direct sight.
Hey great tip Gary, I will look for it in the box!
I think it's a nice novelty item to be honest. One could only hope the arm won't start warping over time though.
I wonder if one will be done for "The Wall" album cover. This one looks nice to have.
That would be cool too. So many great images from The Wall.
There should be an extender for the power switch. It represents the light entering the prism, honestly it’s not difficult. You can see it on step 5 in the manual.
The cartridge isn’t a 2M Red/Blue equivalent either. It’s a Pick It Pro which is completely different with fewer windings and a unique stylus with different compliance.
I’ve never seen one of these in the flesh, but it’s worrying how little an ‘expert’ seems to know before putting info out on RUclips.
in the flesh it's pretty awesome. I work at another(different) hifi shop and I do the videos like these. I alluded to this video and him not "liking" the power switch, lol. Anyhow, it's not heavy at all. And as a fan of Floyd I wasn't really excited ... until I opened one and used it. In person it can change your mind, maybe.
How cool 🤩
Great video thank you
The guy above is correct. You are missing the lever for the power switch. It completes the path of the light beam that refracts through the prism. Thanks for sharing this. How does it sound?
Sound just like the Blue Point No.3 on any other table. Great.
Thanks for making a video of this table and sharing it us views.

I wonder if its novelty are a piece of equipment that i woukd like?
does this have a built in pre amp? if not can someone recommend a phono pre amp which would compliment the turntable. I don't want to spend another 2k..😅
I think that’s the same as others 2m. special 2m red with silver windings in the pickup
Quick question for you Fernando,
I have a Marantz 6300 I bought new, way back when, and would like to change out the cartridge…
Any thoughts on which way to go on this. ???
On it now is the original micro acoustics 2000 E ….
I do not listen to Jazz, nor classical, just good old rock ‘n’ roll, acoustical type music.
And thanks for your videos, always informative.
David, drop me a message though the website, Ill help you pick one.
@@SkyFiAudio thanks, I’ll try…
Not tech savvy.
Is the record player compatible with other albums than Dark Side? ...
You have to buy a Rega to play all other vinyl. So get a preamp with two phono inputs.
The DSOTM record is glued to the platter so you cant play anything else on it :-).
On /Off switch bad design. Can you add an upgrade Project PS to enable 33/45 and on/off switching?
Where's the white light pattern going into the Prism?
Is that a remastered version of DSOTM? Never seen/heard of that before.
I think so.
A new master came out in 2023, and lo and behold it’s not compressed to hell either
THIS MUST HAVE ME!!! 😲😍
Paid for this player 1st of Jan , now end of April, still not here. Record store says big delays. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hello.
I have some problem with my Dragon.
Just started a few days ago. As soon I switch on deck, it start playing automatically. Stop button working if I am holding it, when I released start playing again. Another buttons not working at all. Before everything was working well. I need your advice, please. What happened, can I fix it by myself? Thank you.
That looks nothing like the pics for the pre order
Right? It's so much better than I anticipated. Keep in mind it looks terrible on the video since the camera barely picks up the rainbow. In person it's gorgeous.
Come on man for a piece of plastic that HIGH price?????
But it's got a rainbow on it, surely thats worth more :-).
I try to buy a turntable not the paint! I had 2 Pro-ject made from acrylic tables and they sound garbage! $3500 for plastic table with the basic cartridge just because it have a rainbow? NO THANKS!! This is the ripoff product!@@SkyFiAudio
How much money does Roger Waters get if one is sold?
2000$ for this tt???? Is it a joke? This is an entry level tt.
Shows what little I know about TTs, it looks like a well built professional grade piece of equipment to me as a layman.
That sub-platter is 2x times the thickness of a rega p6.
I thought project made great record players
