  • Hello everyone and thank you for visiting my channel today. I am so excited to be on RUclips and share some “Quickie drawings”- this tutorial is how to draw a feather. There is something very personal about creating little sketches to paste into a journal. I love to draw little studies from the garden. I try to break it down step by step instructions so you can follow along with me. I hope you enjoy them!
    Cheers.

My adult children and are getting feather tattoos to represent our spiritual connection. It was wonderful to come upon your tutorial. I loved it. I have tried in the past to sketch feathers . I was not very successful, but you have given me a great opportunity to be successful. Thank you 😊

Hi!! This is A Marvelous tutorial!!! I love to draw feathers when I remember to...I love birds and feather icons, etc.. And I enjoy making feathers from copper or silver in the past. Now that I'm currently infatuated with drawing and junk journaling..!! Incorporating some jewelry making skills to work..Thank You So Much For Inspiring me Michelle!!
    God Bless!!🕊🙋🏻‍♀️from Iowa =)

Thanks for another informative video - simple tips like moving the paper angle around and thinking of an eraser as a helpful tool (which I always considered just a means of getting rid of my mistakes) are very good for beginners like me. Holding pencils more loosely also helps as gripping tightly when concentrating was a habit I had and now I see it makes lines too hard and unnatural - softer lines are easier to adjust!

I love the feather. But being a pencil, they tend to smudge. How do you prevent that from happening?

Beautiful, I actually have a spotted feather like that at home, so I’m gonna try it!
