    Hi good vid m8. One thing when vcds tells you to "Open bleed screw", you have to get out of car and open them before you click on next. Just for the sake of the viewers.

    My VCDS (version 21.9) has an interface for this function way different from yours. For Golf Mk7 1.0 TSi (5Q0), my VCDS does not show the instructions how to proceed. I had to guess what I was supposed to do in each step of the procedure.

    Surprised you didn’t break the bleed nipple off. It does not need to be tightened with that much pressure.

    Does the US give a code to the line when the pump is not working?

  • @elmaz8503

    So you are suppose to open bleed screw when VAG promotes to? And if so are you suppose to hold the brake down while doing so, so that way your not introducing air into the system? Only asking cause he doesn't bleed the system manually until after going through the VAG commands.

      Hi, so after 10 pedals you must keep pedal depressed or not?

    • @marcio2632-g5m
      @marcio2632-g5m 9 месяцев назад

      @@danielbob7769 you must close the bleeder when still pressing so that way the air does not get in the line. In resume, if the liquid is forced out the air is not going in.

    Thanx, but forgot to mention that other two persons, who opened and closed the bleeding screws during u were pumping and holding the pedal. When u hear the abs noise and are asked to press pedal, u probably bleeding the abs shunt line, and after that the the “ten press process” is a regular bleeding process. Anyway ten press during screws are open surely will empty your fluid tank, so very important to refill your tank continuesly, so let’s get the fourth person😊

    I usually don’t do it this way. Creates double work, and the probability to run the master dry and introduce air.
    The way I do it: hook up a pressure bleeder the master cylinder reservoir. Set it to about 15 psi. Go into the basic settings and start the procedure. Depress the brake pedal, wait for the pump cycle to end. Then go to the respective wheel indicated by the basic setting. Open the bleeder screw and wait until the line fluid comes out clear and bubble free. Repeat the steps for the rest of the wheels. Always checking your bleeder tool and maintaining it at around 15 psi.

    • @MrZimmaframe
      @MrZimmaframe 3 года назад +1

      If you accidentally pump the pressure bleeder upto 22psi will it cause any damage?

    • @lynxstarautomotive208
      @lynxstarautomotive208 3 года назад +1

      @@MrZimmaframe Doubtful. 15 psi is the “safe zone” where the reservoir can be pressurized without concern. Going above you stress it, but the worst that can happen is the reservoir ruptures. If that didn’t happen, you are fine.

    • @lynxstarautomotive208
      @lynxstarautomotive208 8 месяцев назад +2

      @@danielbob7769Naw. I set it to 15 psi, never had an issue. You have to depress the pedal during the procedure anyway, this raises the pressure in the lines to much more than 2 bar. Also with the pedal depressed, the reservoir has little bearing on the rest of the system.
