The poem agneepath at the start of the movie is written by AB Sr dad Sri Harivansh Rai Bachchan who’s a very respected poet .
I often say, this movie shows Hrithik acting skills. He really emoted well. I am not big fan of Hrithik but man he has all the expressions for a Lord Rama.
@@Fe-ironman Hrithik is not having European features just being fair does not mean European features. His emotions are well sorted as Rama who was extremely expressive guy. Now don't name ur South Indian actors 😂 like Prabhas please 😀

The original might be a classic, but this is one of those rare cases where the remake was actually better than the original in almost all aspects
Agneepath 1990 was a classic anti hero gangster movie. Like scarface.
Agneepath remake was a mass masala, weird dystopian type movie.
As a movie, new one maybe better. But they didn't get the soul of agneepath.

I liked the remake, but my point was that the remake is completely different, the soul is missing.
Its a mafia movie turned into masala.
Its an anti hero film turned into simple good vs evil.
If they stuck to the core elements with new actors and presentation. It could've been way better.
@@VedPOP ok ok i agree, movie is somewhat completely different than the first one , but to behonest . many people including me doesnt like anti-hero stuff , like Radhe from Tere naam , or Kabir singh . It would have become a very controversial topic in today's age . Even though i would love hrithik's vijay to have that mafia attitude which was missing in this movie, but i m happy it is still good vs evil . or else i would not have enjoyed Kancha or Rauf lala's death . Cuz i dont want a bad guy killing another bad guy . That is not satisfactory to watch, atleast to me
Hrithik Roshan was a classic performance as Vijay, Amitabh was exceptional in previous, hrithik just made this character his own by not copying Amitabh, what a genius hrithik is just the way he excelled in Vedha's character
One of the rare movies where remakes actually surpasses the original.
Rishi kapoor was exceptionally fantastic here. Massively overshadowed sanjay dutt as the main villain. Hriitik's career best performance as well.

original agneepath was underrated . Not many people had seen it . Those who watched it first and then watched this remake would not have liked this . And that too for only reason - Nostalgia .

@@Youalrightboi that’s where you are wrong. I had watched original agneepath multiple times and much before the new one even released. And I really liked the original one. But after watching the new one, I had to admit that it is better, even if it is by just a slight margin.

People always see Sanjay dutt as menacing villian in this movie. But Rishi Kapoor as rauf lala was too good.
Lala was a bloody menace.
Even though Amitabh sirs Agneepath is a Cult Classic ..bt i even love this....bcoz this Feels more Reboot rather than plain Adaptation with New character like Rishi sir ...nd character who have An Arc....
Both Rick and Korbin had joy on their face when Hrithik came on screen and the when he was breaking the handi, that joy is what hrithik stands for , every Indian audience experiences the same joy when we hrithik on the big screen.
Yere Yere pausa , tula seto paisa (come come rain, I'll give u money) is a childhood Marathi poem. We used to recite it to call upon monsoons...here Sanjay recites it in a dark manner

Glad you picked this movie.. Hrithik was fantastic in this movie. The removal of Iyer's character and addition of Rauf Lala was a masterstroke in my opinion.
Nothing against Amitabh Bachchan who was iconic in the role of Vihay Dinanath Chauhan, but the movie as such was not really that great and was very generic.

this movie is a remake of 1990 original Agneepath by Amitabh, which was inspired from Scarface. Hrithik does not look like a mafia

Hrithik didn’t try to portray the typical mafia look of 80’s anyway.
Unpopular opinion- Agneepath by HR and Don by SRK somehow surpassed the originals.
As movie can agree on modern Don . Acting afcourse big b eats Hrithik in this role . As Don both are good as own way but Amitab bachchan was effortless srk in some scenes overstylised, trying hard to be cool as Don . As Vijay again Amitab bachchan eats him

Why is nobody telling them that “Agneepath” is a legendary and inspiring poem written by Shri Harivanshrai Bachchan (Amitabh Bachchan is his son ) … All of us have read atleast one of his poems in our Hindi Syllabus especially CBSE Board students of India.
The poem they recite in the starting is written by HARIVANSH RAI BACHHAN father of amitabh bachhan and hence the name of the movie and the cast of the original agneepath starred amitabh bachhan

Sanjay Dutt & Rishi Kapoor owned this film! This one isn't a Hrithik show at all! Sanjay Dutt as Kancha is on a different level altogether.. Drug boss who's 6ft weighs atleast 100 kilos and when you see his intro walking with bhagvad geeta cigar and a garland in his hand 🖤 pure muscle mass!

many movies got inspired by this movie. I see kgf too. this movie is a gem Hrithik is treat to watch in this movie. Hrithik u must do more such movies please please. That introductions after 45 minutes..I remember Mohanlal entry in Lucifer after 45 min.
No matter bcz of new technology ,the new movie look good but the original agneepath's story,acting ,bgM,dialogue was on another level,in the new one sanjay dutt and rishi character's are only the good thing.

It's interesting to see this guys noticing every physical details in the movie. But completely ignored so deep and good dialogues, poems and realism of the movie. It's like just noticing the printing and colors and design of the book but not noticing what's written in it.

The original was certainly a classic it tanked at the box office but then Bacchhan decide to stuff cotton down his throat and redubb the movie with his changed voice and it worked!
Original was a 10 crores top 4 grosser. In terms of footfalls it generated more than the remake as indicated by Karan Johar in his book.
Always watch the original movie first than the remake one..

Honestly they didnt need t make Agneepath again. Karan Johar just wanted to make money as he owned the rights from his Dad. Original one didnt find its audience so they got Bachchan to redub again (there are 2 versions in 1990) However today its a cult classic anyway. Same with Don - Farhan got rights from one of the writers his father Javed Akthar and makes a franchise🙄
If you want to see real baby rhitik you can react to the action scene of bhagwan dada movue where he is in full- fledge fighting as a child actor😅❤

Writing is so bad in the remake that they didn’t include the Mithun Chakraborty character. When they started to write his part they couldn’t do justice to it so they ignored it. Their story was so weak that there is not a single memorable dialogue.

Big B's acting in the original is next level! It was one of his most outstanding performances, and my favourite of Amitabh playing the hero.
Everything about him, his Baritone, the swagger, all KICKASS!
In the remake, Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor were awesome; Hrithik was Okay.
If you are an Amitabh fan, there is no way the remake is better. Big B also owns the role; he got a National award for it.
