This is pretty much identical to the way my parents attempted to “motivate” me to do my school work. ...and after a full decade of pure hell, I went on and graduated number 2 in my H.S. class of over 600, finished my bachelors degree in 3 years (summa cum laude) and went immediately to an Ivy League grad school. To this day a great deal of my self-worth and happiness depends on my grades, and (more recently) on whether or not my papers get publication. No matter how high my achievements, however, I still feel like a fraud and worry that people will find out that I’m the dumbest person in the room.

When I am crying severely because I remember all these memories from this tragic event that I went through, I just watch these pranks and my tears are instantly wiped away....that's why I love comedians- they have the power to make us smile again. Just keep fighting because you are stronger than you think you are. Surround yourself with people who bring you up, not down. And don't give up on life or fixing the problems you have- you can't always change circumstances, but you can try to make the best of a situation and at least work on the things you have control over. :)
