Nice one Dan, It can be good just wandering the bush and just checking things out. I'd say that trench in the rock was from the old timers using it as a sluice run, way too neat and square, It would look cool in a big down pour. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Pete. You are probably right with the old timers using it for a sluice, I hadn't thought of that. It's a really nice spot to walk around and just listen to the frogs and birds. Thanks for watching mate.

Good morning Daniel , having a good look around the car last summer , I realized that I left my snuffer bottle at our campsite 4 hrs away . It had my first picker and about a 0.2 in the bottle. That was almost 6 months worth of panning ( hear and there ). At least yours was close enough for a walk . Great content Daniel , see in a couple days . Cheers my friend

Dang Steve, that sux mate, I feel bad for complaining now...lol. Probably a silly question but did you go back for it or just leave it for some lucky bugger to find? Anyway thanks for stopping by mate, see ya soon.

@@RockAndOre oh yah buddy I was all over that . I drove 4 hours back to just to find that someone had actually forgotten their little aluminum garden shovel exactly where my snuffer was , it was probably worth more that the content of the snuffer. But I can get a snuffer or a garden shovel anywhere , but my first picker , that's not an easy find . But having said that....I found my first one , now , I have to find my second " first " one . Thanks for taking the time to reply Daniel . Have a great weekend my friends . Cheers

👍nice gully, I reckon that large pile of gravels where you were panning from is a old timers stock pile waiting for water too wash it and a the cut out was hand dug most likely for a sluice run or possibly dam? reminds me of a gully south of Bendigo. well done.
