You should check the Jimmy Kimmel live version of this song, they made it shorter for the tv, but just to see how mesmerizing Papa is looking.
He gets everyone to clap during the dead and gone chorus. It's really cool when a few thousand people clap in unison. I've been twice in two years and wait on the announcement of where I go again.
It's like Ghost's making their own dark We Will Rock You.
This song really did a number on the fandom, actually, it was completely unlike ANYTHING we'd heard from them before and some of us really were like WHAT THE HELL? But it definitely grows on you, and it IS very catchy. Anyway, time for Faith! That should be you next one!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but Fredrik Åkesson from Opeth played all the guitars on this album.
Music video is actually pretty cool and it adds another dimension and interpretation to the song.
Dunno if you'll see this, but if you want a Ghost song that will completely pull the rug from under you (in an awesome way) you HAVE to check out Ghuleh/Zombie Queen (that's its title, including the slash). It's so different to anything they've done, a lot of prog elements to it. It's a masterpiece. It also has a very infamous live performance on RUclips which has more views that the original track, and it's equally impressive as it is hilarious.
That could be a cool video, doing both versions consecutively, your reactions would be crazy fun to watch 😁
This was the first song I heard in full when I started getting into ghost and I fell in love with it! Everything just melds together so perfectly in this song.
