Anybody still reading these comments? My first show was at Ventura fairgrounds, June 87. I was brand new to the Dead and did not know what to expect. I went to all three shows that weekend. On Saturday, they played Row Jimmy. It was at that moment that the heavens opened and I was hooked. I highly recommend looking up that recording. It is phenomenal! Kind on…
It’s also a great plateau buster. There’s always something new to learn that can propel you to another place. When I get frustrated, I come here, learn a new song and it really opens some other doors. Thanks again
Love this song, and this is, as always, an outstanding Davvy lesson...and I have to add that since the very first time I heard it, and every time thereafter, whenever I hear the opening line, the punny "Julie catch a rabbit by his hair", I can't help but picture Bugs Bunny. I'm sorry. 'tis true.
You are so helpful and the songs you pick to cover are just great! I have learned so much from you I felt guilty. I am now a patreon supporter. Take care.
The Cornell version is the best version anyway, That's one of the best live albums all time of course I have a little bit of a bias considering I'm from New York state.
Great production and lesson Davvy. Keep at it even if ya have to slow down some. Its hard times for most of us. Keep on keep'n on. 'Silver' a band with great lyrics way better than the music.
Love the lesson and channel man, but you have a lil booboo at the 13:11 mark. You say and play the right thing on the low part of the riff, but your graphic shows a G on the low E string, when I think it should be an F#.

those late-70s, reggae-y Row Jimmy's with Donna....
Oh shit ,I’m shrooming ,can’t stop laughing at the “jump off a bridge into a final chorus “ bit 🤣…😐….🤣🤣🤣
Davvy, thank you so much for these videos. They're priceless. Also, this song is perfect. I can see why it was Jerry's favorite.
Hands down my most favorite RUclips series. Keep em coming. Thanks!
And make more videos too!

so many dead lyrics are so random but i love em hahahahha
I've always done the riff in the middle octave between the 7th and 9th frets on the A, D and G strings. Good to see some alternatives though.Thanks.

Hey man. Digging the channel, just watched all the tone vid. Where'd your glasses' frames from btw?
Such a cool fact! Row Jimmy is my favorite song ever

Hey Davvy what's goin on? Do you have a dog named Goliath?
Love it! Thank you so much man. I think in the verse it may supposed to be a 2 on the low E instead of the 3? The tab on the screen says 3.
It happens sometimes.

I read that interview about Row Jimmy on click bait.

Batman and Batman, cause neither one of them is Robin so stop.

They say that this was Jerry's favorite song to perform.
