the plant corner is such a comfy and nostalgic vibe! i love green and brown as a combo soo so sooo much in interiors so that couch and the plants are right up my alley. the clothes corner is also so realistic and feels like a bedroom i've been in before! those were my two faves 💞
every time you tell us to grab a snack and a drink, I always make sure to get my finest goods 😌 today was cake w strawberry jam, salted peanuts, and a cup of water. very demure. and ahhhhh it's so good to see nautilus again!!!! I'm recovering from a minor bad time and decided to redecorate my bedroom, so this video made me so happy + gave me the best inspo!! thank youuu 😙🫶⛵️
i was working on my pocket camp cabin and camper bc i haven’t updated them in a few months! and i have so many more items now!! love the use of the pompom bed too, your colorful builds bring me great joy!!!

hey nat!! the timing of this video is so perfect/funny for me for a couple of reasons. one: i am currently in the process of decorating my bedroom which is also upstairs! i have most of the main items down but gotta get some rugs, work on the walls, polish stuff, drop items...all of the "final" touches i like to do 😅 and two: i recently started a new leaf save because i wanted a different name and gender on that game than the one i had before. (pronouns are they/them and sleepy is fine!) so it was very fun to listen to the new leaf track throughout this video!! i won't lie bestie, i was cooking dinner for me and my gf while i was watching, no building commenced during that time :^( but she did laugh at me boogeying around the kitchen to new leaf music so there's that! and yes, it did come out great, we had some of our fave pasta :^D additional thoughts: i actually love the shape of the downstairs and upstairs. the rectangular shapes are much easier for me to work with than squares! in hhp all of my builds are super rectangular 😅 and to save you some time and headache, the recycled paper bundle item is not a diy. it's an item you can only get from the recycle bin :,^(( kind of like the sloppy set, you also can't order it through the catalog at your island or wardell's!! truly a rude act from nintendo, they know how much those items ate and they are gatekeeping 💔 i just used an orderbot and ordered two inventories of them lol!! proud to say that is one of two times i've not earned something legit in my save, though no hate to the treasure island besties i'm looking forward to the part 2 school build and everything else coming to the channel!! you are always such a comfort watch and inspiration for me. good luck with this week and thanks for the lovely vid! :^)

I still have work to do on my original March 19th 2020 island (I say original despite it being my only island I had lol) but I want to get a second or third opinion on it first. Just been putting that off since I'm not sure where to look for players who can give advice on town decorating for my particular style.
@@noot98 Going for an island based off of coastal California, so a mixture of contemporary, beachy bungalows, plenty of natural vibes and different biomes like the chaparral, mountains, and even a little desert area. Some run down/rusty Americana mixed in as well. Just trying to recreate the place I grew up and still living in, the main issue is trying to find a good mix of nature items and plants for the wild areas as well as keeping the lag down to a minimum (my plaza at times before I cut back on the items dropped to almost 10 fps lol) Definitely planning the dream to be sometime during fall to get that semi-arid feeling.
