Crochet My Petal Edging |

  • Back in 2015 I designed this simple but effective edging that resembles pretty petals. It looks lovely when used with traditional style granny square blankets!

    Very confusing, as your trebles are called DC's in Australia. With a lot of editing to our terms, it would be great to try.

      It’s a shame that different countries use differently terminology but being English I crochet using UK terms.
      US conversion is given in the video notes and there are lots of conversion charts available online

      I did two rounds of double crochets first but it’s not essential. My petal edging be worked on any blanket!

    How many stitches do you have to have on each side before you do the petals?

      It doesn’t really matter. If you want to be totally exact then the stitch multiple is 3 but I don’t worry about it too much if it’s a stitch out here or there as not all blanket patterns will produce a multiple of 3 along their sides.
