NES remix is such an underrate series
Yeah, should have done SNES Remix for Switch.
Really wish they would have a mode where you and your friends do a speed run of the WHOLE games included and see who beats it first. I would totally make a day with my friends and do a Zelda, Zelda 2 or Mario Speed run for the whole game among them.
IKR? It'll be so fun.
If these are just emulators with save states and achievements then it's feasible
And a ghost figure of your friends show up on screen where they are at, like ghost time trials but live
This would have been the perfect opportunity to bring back Super Mario Bros. 35. If that was packaged in the game, I might buy it. Looks fun for those who are into speedruns and the NES classics.

Agreed. Games like this should be locked behind NSO; while all the games on NSo should be sold individually so we could official own and collect them.

I can see this being popular among streamers
but can you actually play the entire game or Is It Just micro games?
It would be cool to have a collection of NES games on a switch cartridge
Quick note: at 6:00, the purple frame is likely "Master." You can just see that on three of the frames at the bottom, slightly hidden by the seeker bar. (The seeker bar being there is the only reason I'm not 100% sure, since it's muting the colour enough that it's hard to make out. Fairly sure it is purple, though.)
Red = Master (4 stars) and purple = legend (5 stars) I think. I saw that on some screenshots on the e-shop.
Kinda lame that Tetris isn't included.
Considering NES Tetris isn’t on NSO but GB is, might have something to do with that. Hell, Tetris 99 only has a GB theme and not an NES theme.
Rad Racer is still owned by Square, so that’s probably why it isn’t on here.

I'm hoping it has enough engaging content. A lot of these seem pretty boring, but it has a lot of potential.
Nes remix 3 or a port of ultimate would have been better. Regardless this is cool to see
I hope for a Tourian run in Metroid start to finish or at least mother brain + escape. Good chances they put the escape alone for a challenge. I hope for the Kraid fight too. I already saw a screen of the Ridley Fight. :P

Honestly, I was expecting it to just be a port of the original, so a full new game is a bonus in my book

I be the hard difficulty on SMB 1-1 would be likely either be beat the level the FASTEST time ever or beat the level WITHOUT touching either enemies or power-ups or coins since there is SO many RUclipsrs did videos about beating the game WITHOUT touching something or using something for the whole game.
I wish they would re-release NES Ultimate Remix for the Switch.
They even include a couple of challenges to try out on the site? That's so cool.

They’re more mini challenges to complete a goal as fast as you can within the games similar to NES Remix but without the remix part
The full games won’t be included since they’re selling these games through the NSO subscription

I would have loved a feature like this in NES NSO. And use the games already on the service as a basis.
This isn’t a game it’s mostly a demo you can try so many different games from it if it had every game with the full version it’s worth it since Nintendo doesn’t have achievements I might not pick it up I own the cartridge already don’t need a switch version if it’s not a remake
it's a fun release but it's a pass for me... not a big fan of bite sized timed trials and the game seems way too short... but the physical collector's edition looks dope, better act fast scalpers going to have a field day with that...
its not a game where you buy it and blast through it in a weekend. the singleplayer is basically just practice for the main meat of the game which is speedrunning to get the best times worldwide.

This does not look like a Nintendo World Championships game to me because I'm pretty sure that you and friends are supposed to go as long as you can on this games as that is what the NWC were 7 years ago on stages. Right concept but wrong game type as this is more NES Remix. I don't know how to feel about this when I'm expecting a NWC setup game like the competitions.
It’s probably named after NWC because it follows the sane idea of completing a challenge as quick as you can
@@hock_100 To me, I would have a competition with NES Levels from all 13 games and have challenges where you can play as Link in a DK Level and say "Can you get all the KONG letters and finish the level" for me as a gamer that would challenge my SKILLS at levels to see if I can do it and make me want to play more, here with small clip challenges that are so basic and easy to do on NSO, isn't going to get me to play this game more than 2x at most.
