Very cool train build Andy. I like the design. Looks like a real GC train. Great job! 😊
Thanks Klaus, I cant wait to build a couple more carriages and get the train track all set up.
Its looking really cool Dubbzi. I can't wait to see what further innovations you will come up with now that you have gotten to the trains. Keep it coming!
Thanks @sternolegs . The top train line that will go through Wayne Tower is going to be one massive challenge in so many ways.
That looks great, keep up the good work, gotham's looking real nice
Thanks @corradoguglielmo1386 🙏
That train set is a beauty. I remember getting it for my little boy, the bank truck and container got a lot of playing with in particular. Nice job as ever Dubbzi.
Thank you @davidfisher5507, It looks like a good set. I have only made the train engine up, but that itself seemed a really good build. Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the set is like.
Great looking train Dubbzi ! Good thing you waited on finishing the station.😂.
Thank bud, It could have been a right disaster 😂
The passenger car looks great. As a personal preference I would add more color to the passenger car. Loving the series. I’m surprised your channel isn’t much bigger. Keep building my friend.
Thank you @jasonh8470, Think you are right. I will be trying to add some more colour somehow to the trains. Hopefully more people will share and discover the channel and it will continue to grow 🤞
Love its design and its everything I would expect to see a Gotham City Train have, as it not only looks rundown and sketchy to board, but it’s also symbolic of Gotham’s aesthetic and overall atmosphere. Keep up the great work.
Thanks @Lego-Man123 , I am looking forward to seeing what it is like with three carriages all together. I was going to go down to two, but think three will be the way forward
@@dubbzibricks No worries, I too am looking forward to seeing what it will look like with three carriages. Agreed I definitely think three is better than two.
Looking great!
Thank you @AFOLTV 🙏
Great! Your builds are really underrated 😮
Thank you @flookoon6926
Looking awesome dubbzi. I plan on getting that same train set; for when I do my subway train. I think it's more useful than the other train, as well.
Thanks @lennynash8221, It certainly felt like the right choice
The train is looking great! Pity I couldn’t catch it live.
Thanks @lizsigma9451 🙏
Great update had a cracking effort if that’s the first time you’ve worked with L-Gauge! 😀
Thanks @legoteambee 🙏. The interesting part will be when the train is going around the city and hoping nothing collapses, especially on the train line that will be high up going through the Wayne Tower. No idea what sort of vibrations or movements the trains cause to bricks, if any. Better get the camera set up for the inevitable train crash 😂
@@dubbzibricks 😂
Glad you went 8 wide, not a fan of the 6 wide trains they don't look right to me. Those tight radius curves used to cause me loads of issues when I was doing city work. All looking good.
Thanks @BrickstagePass, the 8 studs does give you a lot more options for designs. Glad I went down that route in the end.
keep up the good work!
Thank you @matthieudesormeau2169 , Will try 😉
Love the new train. It's so fun to watch your Gotham come to life!
What do you think about making all the train window frames sand blue? It would add some color, and may resemble a local transportation "branding"?
Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks @alfredrising3247, Thats not a bad idea. Will have to see if I can get a hold of some. Have already ordered the grey ones, but they can easily be used elsewhere.
congrats on 3k! keep up the great work
Thanks @Vulpix03YT 🙏
Looks nice
Thanks @MultiverseOfBrickness 🙏
This is great!! But should stick to your initial thoughts of 3 carriages, with one of the carriages being graffitied on,
Some platforms are shorter than the train, you shouldn’t let this stop you!! I think the trains will look 10x better in 3s than in pairs
Thank you @CK662, Totally agree. The longer train would look better. I have been thinking about ways of extending the platforms etc, I am sure there will be a solution that I can come up with.
To brighten up the train/it's carriages seeing as their subway style car's a lil graffiti wouldn't go amiss
That would look really cool
Nice build!! I love this little train set up!! It's cool!😊
Thank you @caloutaro , It has been good fun starting to work with trains.
I'm really inprest with your first atempt for a train. luckely you build it at this stage of the build. keep up the good work.
Thanks @madmax6220 🙏 , Me too. Could have caused a massive head further down the line.
I still have to get used to the boxy 8 studs wide look here, but taking New York trains for inspiration is perfect! No idea whether any Batman movies were shot there, but the Gotham TV show was. Keep up your work and I'm looking forward to seeing your el in service👍
Thanks @theroaringbricks , I was thinking initially 6 studs wide would be best, but I couldn't think of a design that I really liked. I think I got the New York idea from the Christian Bale Dark Knight films. Can't wait to be able to build more of the train line and trains themselves.
@@dubbzibricks I think it will look more harmonious once you add the second car
@@theroaringbricks I think I will end up with at least three cars per train line.
@@dubbzibricks that could look really good
Have you considered using off-brand Lego track, such as TrixBrix, for the outside curve? Normally, I will not use non-Lego bricks, except for train tracks. Lego neglects their train fans - they really should have two different curve radii to run parallel tracks.
Being totally new to LEGO trains I was really surprised by the lack of options. Unfortunately I am a bit of a purist and have always tried to find a solution with the parts that are available. If it did ever prove impossible to find a fix I may have to look at TrixBrix.
Add some rust and graffiti and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between yours and the real thing. 😉
That is a GREAT idea about the rust @christianbrass6959. Will def be adding that detail. Graffiti will be a little harder without adding stickers, but will see what I can do.

Hoping to get the el working really soon.
@@dubbzibricks looking forward to it!
Btw are you still working on your GCPD or is that finished?
@@theroaringbricks GCPD has a LOT of work to be done to it. There is not a single finished building in Gotham at the moment. I want to add a lot more internal details as well as a few more floors to the build.
@@dubbzibricks sounds awesome, btw for which time period are you going with your Gotham city?
@@theroaringbricks There is no set time period or specific comic, TV series or film. It is, I guess, my own spin on it all but inspired by different things. If you ever have any ideas of buildings that you think would look cool in the City, let me know..... it is always good to get other peoples input for inspiration.
