Have to say really enjoyed Andy plumbs tipping point book! As a child my Late dad had 7 reliants before finally passing his 4 wheel driving test in 1989!
How cool was that to speak to the car designer! I met David Bache the chief designer of the Rover P6 at a car rally, he said "I designed that" and I said "thank you very much!". I prefer the March show as it is smaller and more can be taken in, November is a bit overload for me! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome i love the bond bug i asked my hubby to get one in the 1970s he kept his robins until 1980 when i passed my test first time we bought a datsun sunny 👍
Pity the interview was so noisy, I could barely make out what he was saying (reliant chap). Main thing is you went, enjoyed yourself and made it back in one piece 😊 in your little piece of automotive history 🤗. Fairplay to you.👍🇮🇪
I love the great cars that you have shown. Some of them I would love to have. I've decided to sell my Jaguar XJ X351 because it's actually too big for where I live. I'm fancying an MG F/TF .
@Mitch-Hendren bit rich coming from Hubnut seeing the amount of scrap in his collection. Maybe was just a slip of the tongue. I've been known for saying things without thinking them through. Hello from drogheda 👍
Lol Ian and I had a nice chat the day before, I didn't stop to talk on this video as it was before opening on a Sunday and everyone was rushing to get ready for the day 😀
You can get a copy of Andy's book "Tipping Point - Designing a great British underdog" and much more here.. www.leadindesign.ltd
Great interview and very interesting history! Need to give Andy’s book a read

That's a cool story 😎 It was nice to have the entire weekend to chat about it.
I thought the march show was big, but the Nov show is huge!
Very much enjoyed the video.

I know, was a bit gutted, it was much noisier than we thought. I really need to buy a mic.

Nice to have had it, on to the next toy 😀
How come all other RUclipsrs on the show missed out the 3 wheelers? It's probably the second if not the best part
We were down on a side of one hall, easily missed. The show is huge, I spent 3.5 days there and am seeing things in other people's vids that I missed.
Was it Andy’s idea to put the mini lite wheels on the last models? My mate worked there. There is an old bbc documentary on the last era there.
No idea, I'll have to ask him 😀
Do you think Ian noticed your lovely furious driving hat 😮 he just about waved to you and no more 🤔
Probably keeping a low profile after saying Steve's MK2 wasn't as nice looking as a MK1 next to it .
