I was watching Vertias and Jesse talk about how they felt about arena breakout Infinite on their po(g)dcast, to some up a 2hr long convo they basically said it was almost a one too one with an exception of "quality of life" changes --they debated what was or wasn't plagiarized and that it was fun, alot of fun with some wonky features or lack of features. All the while being very very close to either plagiarism or Fresh take of what a niche genre would look like. (for argument sakes Ill mention that according to them they were like: "hard to say they weren't copying homework when the game has tarkovs old recoil... how many games do you know that when you hold left mouse, first 6 shots are garbage, and the rest of the mag is a lazer??" or my fav "dude they even have their own cat statues and lions.... like stuff that makes you go WOW") --but that makes sense. they put what worked in tarkov in a newer engine --sorta lol feel like they didnt need to change the formula. i dont even know what i want from an extract shooter or if I'd love something weird like... idk tarkov on mars lol. one big point that Vertias made that sort of aligns with what you were saying and what ALSO has made me pump the breaks on buying arena break out is that: (paraphrasing) Vertias: sure its ok, fun even. seems like they lurked on the [tarkov] subreddit and wrote down our bitches and moans... but I don't know if I see them truly doing the fan base right --the similarities between tarkov and this game is on THE line, almost scummy. its a bad look and im not sure they are better than nikita. considering these bigger streamers sorta kinda dick ride arena breakout and they STILL had negative things to say, going as far as saying that it may not be much better than takov. its wild --if it werent for nikita being a prick id run back but ive already packed my bags lol
I been playing this game since launch, not a streamer or anything just signed up early for a code. Im a tarkov player and really like this game but I do agree they need to release more keys. It might be so they generate more hype along with keeping the servers from being overwhelmed.
Lucky man, but the unavoidable truth of the matter is, we're at, what around 100k players? Tracing the numbers back shows around that many codes is why i say. (according to ABIs twitter and discord) at what point is it "a closed beta" and at what point is it deliberate bottlenecking? This is precisely part of the point here. thats just in relation to the codes stuff ofcourse. Additionally, Servers are much simpler than people make it out to be- in most scenarios you can simply add more proxies- i have major doubts that the server is the reason myself thanks for the constructive input!

Gonna finish the video but I'm at the 2 and a 1/2 Meta mark and I can't help but empathize with your inability to get a key. My Duo buddy is having the same issue. However, logistics prevents everyone from being satisfied the during a limited slot data. Especially when a game markets itself at a brilliant time, when its biggest competitor made its biggest blunder. Not trying to dismiss your concern.I do agree.On pretty much everything else you've said. So far in the video except plagiarism. Here is my toughts: my account got banned for 10 years for using "cheat or other 3rd party support tool". I live streamed every 30 hours of the game. Me and other hundreds of account affected by this false ban/trigger. Sending a ban appeal thru ticket system is a joke. Discord mods collect data thru google forms... joke. The devs are aware of this (according to discord mods) and admited they have no idea why it happened. The community is just pure cancer as well as the dev team. Forums are full of these uneligable key that you mention and trolls come to mock and laught at us every day. Support is non existent. Devs are censoring stuff and instead of making any offical news they just made a post i quote: "In the past week, our Anti-Cheat team detected and combated over 10 memory-related cheats, 2 VT cheats, and over 10 DMA cheats, and in total 2124 accounts have been banned for ten years." There are hundreds of innocent players banned while there are chinese name rage hackers in the game with 600+ PMC kills on the profile killing everyone in the lobby with stock AK going wild and ruining others experience. Sh*t is crazy. Only discord mods are friendly, nice but they don't have 'offical' power over this. Other toughts: game is way overhyped, it's not a tarkov killer even if it has better QoLs., as soon as it relased cheaters will flood the game to unplayability due it f2p nature. You might think you missing out on this hypetrain but trust me i truely wish i hadn't gotten on it and i want to be in your shoe. My 10 years+ steam account got flagged as cheater for this cr*p. If you can avoid this game as plague even if it comes out and you will thank me later.

They decided to let streamers in first to create buzz. That's it. Simple. If you had an audience, then yes, you would have a key by now. Just be patient and wait a few days or weeks. The hi tier streamers are already covering it and I'm already tired of it, not watching any more of that kind of content. When you have your key - enjoy the game. Or not. Whatever you make out of it. thats my exact point here though, im not the only one who has jumped through the hoops to not be rewarded, even after expressly told "hey you did it here ya go" The twitch drops don't work, the site signup is a lie to my knowledge. I'm not a streamer and i've played the beta over 50 hours, it's like they tried to copy tarkov to the extent where it has no identity of its own. The gameplay loop is about killing players, grabbing stuff, doing the quests and collecting loot that sells for keon that you'll be able to buy from the MTX store. It's not that great, the movement mechanics remind me of an older call of duty, like black ops 1. You're honestly not missing out on much there, it's being pushed by Tencent and copying a better game. It 100% fails to capture the same feeling of games that it's trying to copy. Hunt Showdown is a much better game and came into the genre swinging. ABI will be played by many I'm sure, but it is one of the least exciting experiences so far as its "depth" and proud to be a "tarkov clone". They also agreed to sponser a bunch of streamers and then retracted it and "screwed" some of them over.
