Slow Rush is one of my favorite albums of 2020, but God damn, I miss him writing straight up psych rock.

I remember all the years we had the stones etc, all non American band playing the superbowl, like really we don't have a world class band? Well the old fat dudes in the million dollar boxes wanted stones.
He helped me go through my depression. His music touches my heart. I still remember listening to It feels like we only go backwards on the day my parents had a intense argument which ended up with my mom attempting suicide. I am so happy to see him again. Its been a long time partner. Thank you for being there for the ride.

@Sheila Koala I wouldn't quite call it rubbish (though I haven't come back to it), but I hear ya -- There's so much synth involved now, they're competing for my affection with a lot of other acts. Wish they'd stayed pushing that nu age psych. I know Kevin has always written most of the material but it's increasingly starting to feel like a solo project

they are autotuned now. for 95% of pop music I just hate it and it takes the life out of music. As much as I hate the whole tuning concept, I have to confess here, it just works. EDIT: I just watched a lot of acoutic live, his vocals are much more in tune and effortless, great work Kev.

Journeyman Music They always were tuned, Elephant was off Lonerism so it’s not like this is new ground here. He’s mastered his tech now, and in my opinion uses it to amplify his sound, not mask his voice.
I’d love to hear some unplugged vocals though, the Bordlerine Blood Orange remix is a good taste of what it could be like if he went that route.

They really don’t. Their games are awful and are effectively designed to drain as much money from their players as they can whilst putting as little investment and effort into the game as possible.

Kevin can’t be stopped seriously all he does is put out quality time and time again he cannot lose!!! Despite sometimes taking a while for a new album to drop the singles he drops plus older music is timeless i never get bored of his music it’s just that good!
