you can buy the energy fuses from the trade rocket. You should save the money for 2 power fuses, you need them for the portal generator. You could also wait for the quartz hubbles to appear, they give one of each quartz
I've got the planet almost completely terraform and I haven't found anything pulsing. I thought I'd been thru all the lava caves. Thx something to look for.
So yeah, if the sky goes pink/purple, you want to be outside. Because it's a Pulsar asteroid dropping and there's only one. And it should have between 5 and 8 Pulsar Quartz.
So a couple of things Spanj. 1. You can buy energy fuse multipliers from the trade rockets. Because theyre 6k terra tokens, theyll be further down the list (its sorted lowest price to highest price). 2. Those butterflies you picked up in those domes do respawn and are worth 4k terra tokens each. Theyre a great money maker. Edit: ok good. looks like you figured it out lol.
Drones don't cost extra power, aside from the drone station. You can have 500 drones with only 1 drone station, and it uses the same amount of power as 1 drone station.
If you want to speed up pulsar unlocking, just keep launching rockets, even if you don't need the resources. If you don't want to deal with meteors, just keep launching oxygen (seed spreader) rockets.
You should really get an autominer setup on some uraninite. When the ore gets processed it gives you super alloy. Combine that with drones and you will not have to worry about any metals ever again.
Might I suggest carrying less crap, you only need 1 food and maybe one water (since you can drink the puddles) for a loooooong excursion at this point. Also leave the iron since you can just put down t1 miner for that - and presto you have the whole backpack for loot (minus the 1-2 spots for food). But ofc you do you and mind how you go :)
I'm tempted to build more rovers and just carry them around as storage boxes. Just keeping dropping them off and filling them up. Then call em back and let the drones empty them
Once I got drones the t2 miners were awesome. I set a "trash thing " to collect all the ores I didn't want once a few storages things were full so those ores didn't fill up the miner so it couldn't get the good stuff.
The thing that got under my skin about this game was it turned into an "Inventory management" game both with a lack personal inventory space and your base became a warehouse of storage boxes by the 100s, and when most of your time is spent in a game doing inventory management, I loose interest fast in said games.
Nope, you can't mine it. But now Spanj has drones and autocrafters, it can crafted once the recipe unlocks. It also falls from the sky pretty regularly, so eventually there's no shortage.
Well I understand the game's not about that. But if it's a finished product those terrain errors and the fall thru the rocks places should still be fixed.

You flew right over a blue crate at 9:08
I think you can get into pay of the ship under the bridge.
Try placing auto miners near the building underwater on the shoreline.
Great video!

@Spanj, there's a second cave deep in the lava caves... Maybe take a look see in there for something... pulsing.... ;)
I was starting to feel bad for Spanj and was going to tell him, you beat me to it. :)

@Spanj also make sure to put the energy multiplier on the 2 fusion reactors you have. Watch as your power skyrockets.

If you want to redeploy a solar panel in a place that wont let you, just put down a foundation, and then you can deploy it on the foundation.

Don't worry, there is a source for getting all the pretty quartzes. Eventually you'll have far more than you need!
Fuses, tokens and pulsar quartzes will often appear as loot once you are able to warp and go on expeditions.
Cheers
Yeah! More Planet crafter.

You can recycle explosives and get 2 explosive powders and a circuit board I believe.
think you can put the autominer above the quartz cave and it still works
@Spanj BTW, those little cairns you keep finding? They DO have a purpose... it just might not be so visible... yet. ;) Maybe keep an eye on them... :p
Definitely build the Machine optimizer! That will help
Serena butterflies grind them up, they give some very good stuff :)
It's energy fuses and they are in the trade rocket near the bottom of the list

They musta lowered it. It used to cost 5 fusion cores in Dev Branch.

this must be the first Early Access DLC ive seen lol

Do you not have a beacon module on your car? I have one on the prime planet. Oh and yes another game you caused me to buy ya spoon 😛
@spanj why don't you crush the one ore that gives you pulsar quartz?
Wouldn't it be cool if we found alien tech on a planet you had to research to make cool stuff?
does the uranite give pulsar, thin if gives super alloy

The next grindable resource after uraninite does give pulsar.
It's not crazy, mate. Animals are delicious 😂😂😂
Crafting pulsar quartz requires 0 super alloy or super alloy rods.
I can buy the power fuses now but they're only 150% whereas the other types are 500%
If the item doesn't give a trade value in the description you can't sell it

Anyone out there mod this game yet?
