Been using Hazet boxes for 35years. Old ones were 804 all blue and stronger rivets. First thing I did with the 190 was drill out the rivets (aluminum) and put bolts in. I carry up to 100lbs. 804 had better rivets. Snap on has 2 handles tough on the hand. Hazet has one.
I love Hazet, that's why I wanted the tool box. In Canada you don't see a lot of Hazet but I have a few tools from them. You know a lot about their tool boxes. I can see the old ones having stronger (steel) rivets. Great idea about replacing the rivets with bolts, thanks for that !!
Hey There and thanks for the comment. I actually did a review on the Trusco ruclips.net/video/qqfoCQe8QNs/видео.html so I own both. I would say they are very comparable. The Hazet is a slightly heavier gauge of steel, but the steel is flat where the Trusco gets some strength from the design in the steel. My honest opinion is you can't go wrong with either. Both have a really nice colour in person.
@@hermanbril2682 You will love it, I really like mine. I keep all my paint protection stuff in that one. If you use the link I'll get a small commission and it won't affect your price at all, it does support the channel. Obviously if you can find cheaper elsewhere please do, but if you buy from Amazon here is the link: amzn.to/3VNssbd
@@oohyllab Hey there, I used wd-40 and kept opening and closing it, it didn't take long for the rivets to loosen up, some of it was paint. Just keep a rag handy so when you spray you don'g get it everywhere, and also you can wipe off the excess that runs down the side of the tool box. You have to do it a few times. I love this box !!!

Looks like a lunchbox/cooler
It does !!!!
Its also tight and hard to open because it’s empty.
Hey There, once I sprayed all the joints well and worked them the tools box is fine. it opens and closes freely.
@@GarageKingwhat did you use to loosen it if I may ask?
