Episodes of Concentration with Jack Narz will be airing weekdays starting March 30th!
We're real excited to have this show. Thank you for watching!
throwback to my youth
@Jared Schnabl The last time this much excitement came over a long lost show coming in reruns was Peter Marshall Hollywood Squares on GSN 18 years ago. The oldest show in that pickup were the NBC primetime shows from 1968, 34 years old at the time. This is stuff not seen in 40 years at least.
And Beat The Clock (1969-74) ?
Now we will see the 70's vision.
@@AeroZeppelin33 Haven't seen that since it was on GSN in the 2000's.
I GENUINELY can't describe just how excited I am about this. This is incredible!
This channel is a godsend.
I don't recall his doing, "Concentation." Shall have to watch. I've enjoyed Mr. Narz, ever since, first, he helmed a game show("Beat The Clock"), here, in Canada.
Jack Narz is from my hometown. He and his brother Tom Kennedy set out together after high school to try entertainment careers in L.A. They did all right.
I remember this and some of the 60's Concentration game shows. I still remember the sound of the squares turning. For some reason l never liked the mechanical sound of the squares turning. I've been watching Classic Concentration with Alex Trebek(RIP Alex). I kinda chuckle at the prizes on the older show dog treats, mac and cheese dinner, and oven cleaner; those compared to the more 'recent' prizes of jewelry and patio furniture. With better technology the board is computerized on a giant screen. There was no gameshow network when l was growing up in the 60s and 70s and we only had 3 channels, no cable. I used to watch Game Show Network, but all it has on there at night when l mostly watch TV, it's family feud. I guess l'm a fan of Buzzr because of the early gameshows. Long live BUZZR 🙂
Airdate: Tuesdays, KHOU - CBS 11, January 1977 - September 1978.
Episodes start from January 1976.
Phil is one bright, sunny and nice guy.
Nice to hear that small snippet of Stan Freburg in the slate (Johnny O would later introduce him in real life on Match Game-Hollywood Squares)
Concentration is great. 😀👍
It'll be neat to hear the Concentration music connection with The Price is Right!
NBC finally has a heart.
Also fremantle listen to the public too
I would love it if Buzzr adds this version to their schedule.
March 30th.
@@Tubewings Cool! 😎 Thanks, Tubewings.
My kingdom for a felt pen!
I love how the trilons spin fast. Not like when they went ka chunk! But I love that sound, too. Glad to hear it's returning! It's been too long.
Supposedly, G-T used the NBC version's board originally, but ended up rebuilding it when the trilons became too slow; that might've happened in the lead-up to the '75-76 season.
Why are the other 8 videos in this playlist marked Private? :/
Are you going to start showing these super old ones? Thanks!
March 30th onwards.
You’re kidding???😮
@@gsnman Not kidding! Episodes will be airing weekdays starting March 30th.
You all are awesome! Thank you for brightening up my day!!!
Solved it at 3:20
What time is Concentration going to be on Buzzrtv? I'm on the east coast
7:30pm for you guys, but 4:30pm for us on the West Coast
I didn't see a "Zee" in that puzzle. Looked like a "Zed" to me.
Don't you hate when you make so many matches only to end up losing the game?
Also, I wonder how this version of Concentration's production code worked. Was this the 5th episode of the 97th week of production or the 975th episode overall?
This would've been season 4, so I'm very sure it is supposed to read like 97-5.
97th week, 5th episode of the week.

Well...did Fremantle make some arrangement with NBC for this as the first original run was on that network and this syndicated version was seen in its first couple of seasons on NBC-owned stations like WNBC-TV 4. It would switch to WOR-TV 9
The syndicated episodes of Concentration and Classic Concentration were in Fremantle's hands, but I guess in recent times NBC loosened their grip on the format rights, and Buzzr was able to strike a deal with Fremantle/NBC to air them. Jim Victory was the syndicator for Narz Concentration(and Match Game PM and 1979-82 Match Game syndicated daily), and Victory Television got a credit in the end credits of Classic Concentration.
Why did Jack leave this show ? I liked him better than Trebek .
