A decade ago I played a fan recreation of this game on Java and the presentation was faithful... So faithful that the creator got a cease and desist from Fremantle and took down 99.9% of the content (as one piece of content wasn't based on a Fremantle property). Any, I was able to win the bonus round in under 35 seconds almost every time. Ah the memories. Remnants of the Super Password fan site can be found on the Wayback Machine, unfortunately all download links won't work (as per terms of the Wayback Machine).

He made a nice move at 36:09 With no match there, he knew he should take three next, because with the first pair not matching, the match had to include three, so three led him back to the right answer at the bottom. VERY smart move.

Happened a lot on 'Concentration' I noticed when watching some of the older clips; one contestant would take all the prizes off the board but if they didn't solve the puzzle behind it they essentially handed the game over to the other contestant if they solved it correctly. Almost like Family Feud, you can steal the win even when the other contestant(s)did most of the 'heavy lifting' so to speak.
