Thank you! 😃I appreciate the sweet words
Thank you! Great refresher for me.
So glad! Thanks for watching 🥰
Clappers used will make them lay flat and look so neat. Thanks for sharing.
Yes! I tend to forget to use mine... but you are absolutely right!
Great video on the seams! 🎉❤
Glad you liked it!! I so appreciate you following along.
Just watched my first video of yours. You’re so cute😊..thanks for the tutorial. pS- Fancy machine you got there.
Thanks for watching that means so much!
I am a big fan of spinning seams. I rarely sew seams open unless I'm desperate. Apply this technique to LeMoyne Stars, Pinwheel Blocks and Hour glass blocks. I generally grap each seam on either side, and then pull one toward me and the other away...it tends to pop the seam efficiently...and seam ripper can do clean up if needed. Great tutorial.
Thanks so much! I'm glad you love working with flat seams!
Good explanation, have to try that.
great tip! thanks Christen 😀
So glad you liked it!! 🥰
Thank you🤗
You’re welcome 😊
Thanks for sharing this video! Question: if you press all seams open instead of over to one side, how do you fix the center for that?
Good question. If you press your seams open, they will not spin. They will naturally lay flat when you go to press your seams open.
I’m having trouble nesting with a 9 patch,
Thanks for this video! Can I ask where you got your ironing board mat? It’s so cute!
Aw thank you! It is actually a fabric that I fell in love with and I covered a spare wood board from my garage in batting and the fabric and stapled it to the back 😆 It has worked for many years as a small ironing board next to my machine!
Can you do an easy tutorial on edge to edge (end to end) quilting on an embroidery machine? Where, on the quilt sandwich, do I start? Do I really need a template? I am a little scared to tackle this as 2 of my quilts are gifts and I don't want to mess it up, but I really want to learn how to do this. Thank you
That is a really good question. I am not an expert on quilting with my embroidery machine, but I know people who do love this technique. I would strongly suggest making up a few sample quilt sandwich projects with either scrap fabric or something simple like a jelly roll quilt that doesn't have a lot of your time invested in the quilt piecing. Then you have a practice project to really get down the technique before you move on to your quilts that you're gifting.
I’m doing a 9 patch, nesting doesn’t work for me. Help
Oh no, what seems to be the problem?
@@ISeeStarsQuilting I’m doing a nine patch with a few half square triangles, impossible to flatten all the seams. Any suggestions?
