I read bad stuff about the ASUS ROG Z790 motherboards, that you cannot get any DDR5 RAM working past 6000, some say even 4600, even with QVL RAM.........
I'm a little late, but im currently looking at this motherboard as a replacement for my asus tuf z790 plus wifi d4. My Lan port is DOA so I figured if im gonna exchange it I might as well find something a little higher end for my 13700k
Hi just got same motherboard with i9-13900k, i looked ton of videos already but non of them are exactly for this motherboard for best settings for cpu. I mean undervolting or overclocking in the bios for cpu, as well known i9-13900k under load is getting to 100*C. And for us who are not too much familiar with doing that stuff would be cool for someone to make video of that. Z790 and i9-13900k.
I have a new build with an asus maximus z790 hero board..about to instll windows 11. The board came with a flash drive with drivers on it..do i install those after installing windows? Or before?
Hi, ty for the video. Just bought the same mobo, but there was no “cpu thing” in my box. The thing that looks like a cpu, what was it can you tell me pls. Thanks
They put a nice ssd heatsink on the slot no one will use for ssd, thats brilliant design. Also uploader, when you do an unboxing video, show everything that comes in the box. I was interested in the wifi antenna and you didnt even bother showing it.
99% of the PC industry RUclipsrs never read any of the important PCIe bifurcation, manuals or documentations. Y'all content creators need to let your viewers know one of the most important clarification on these new Z790 boards. If you install a M.2 SSD card into this motherboard's M.2_1 slot that supports PCIe 5.0 x4, it'll reduce your GPU PCIe x16 lanes down to x8. This will affect performance on your expensive high-end GPU. Copied from the Z790-E Gaming Wifi documentation "** When M.2_1 is occupied with SSD device, PCIEX16(G5) will run x8 only." Disable MCE and the 13900 will run cooler
would be a nice upgrade from my 7700K. thinking of the 13700K
Where is the benchmark video. I can't find it
If I put in a RTX 4090, doesn't that affect the performance of the top M2 slot?
All the best.
Cheers.

Was it an angry bird? 🤣
Nah, just was just excited about the board and chip. But I told him he cant barge in like that when I do the review 😂
@@hardwareoverload LOL! 🤣 Awesome unboxing though. Sorry about the damaged box. 😩
