    Fascinating. I wish we knew more about her previous owner. I think I’m with you on leaning towards her being a normal goose that was stuffed when she broke, but either way it’s still a mysterious piece.

    Definitely one of the most interesting items in your collection. I remember watching the original video for her and being so interested! Hands down my favourite WOW talker. Could you please link that teddy costume prototype? ❤️

    Finally got around to watching this, very interesting! I’m honestly glad out of all the people who found her those years ago it happened to be you! Even if she isn’t a prototype she’s still very fascinating. I’ve always wondered what her innards looked like ever since I first watched your first video on her, glad to finally know!

    Ok this might sound dumb but what if she was a store display, if she was on a tall shelf she would be looking down at the customers, or down at hector or even books and tapes

      That’s actually a pretty good theory!

      From what I've seen of the WOW displays, they all have a back board and are usually connected to it. It may explain why the wires are cut, but then there's the question about why it's stuffed so the neck can't move. I think that they'd want all the features on display if they were trying to sell it.

    Hi, blue! This has been a very informative video. I am glad (after all these years) that we finally solved the mystery of this taxidermied mother goose. Also, thank you so much for describing what you were doing during the music part of this video. I kind of feel left out when you tubers cover over what they are doing with all this music and then come back at the end talking about all the wonderful changes they made or progress they made or whatever the case may be. Anyways, just wanted to say thanks and good work!

    Had no idea there would be more to this goose! Loved the original video for many years....I think she was a WoW prototype used in promos but then she broke and had to be taken apart like that because of how old the toy is

  • @furbywankenobiluna
    @furbywankenobiluna 3 года назад +8

    Wow I never thought you would take her apart. I was not expecting the motors to still be inside so that’s pretty cool. I am still not sure if she could be a prototype. She may just be a really early released 2nd gen but she also mite just be a regular goose.

  • @ponyta9
    @ponyta9 3 года назад +5

    wow i never thought you'd do a part 2 for this, but i'm glad you did because it was really interesting when you wanted to take her apart and see if there's anything inside, in the first video when you said she was stuffed, i thought maby the people took all of the internals out and it was just filled with stuffing, i didn't think they left anything of the other stuff inside, so that was really interesting to see.

  • @acutee2
    @acutee2 3 года назад +5

    Maybe the tape/battery died and a child broke the neck but they still loved it so this was the solution? just a thought.

  • @tylernorris381

    If you have something that you don't want to break or fall off try Loctite glue it really sticks and stays on unless it's to hot inside or out depends on what you glue down or you force it off the glue bonds in 10 seconds full repair 12 to 24 hours

  • @squidrito7940

    So cool that you opened her up. Do you know if she was originally a 1st or 2nd gen? You didn't score a neck motor but I guess it could have been removed.

    Hello Blueoctopede!
    I am wondering if we can get more snoopy videos soon? I really would like to hear the full song from the old dog duet video. I only know a few words from what I've picked up from the video. It would be cool to finally hear the whole song!!!

    It's cool you decided to open her up I think if you didn't do it now with that piece of plastic the way it was you would have had to eventually anyway if it made a hole but I honestly didn't expect to find motors in there. There's just so many different things she could've been she broke and that was the only way someone knew how to "fix" her was by making her a stuffed toy instead. Although the yellow feet are really interesting and the fact that she doesn't get sticky. Mine I'm constantly having to wipe down because of the stickyness of her beak and feet. I have noticed with my mother goose after watching your videos that the entire head of mine is almost closely shaved where the rest of her body is regular length I remember watching a video of you fixing a mother goose and how you said to watch out for the hair getting stuck in the eyes and I realized that mine is nothing like that lol She doesn't seem to ever be taken apart but I'm not sure why someone would closely trim her whole head like that.

    I bought one that should be coming withing the next week or on moday, and it actually looks pretty close to the one that kept popping up on the "AS SEEN ON TV" ad blue showed in this video a few times. I have not recived her yet but i will make a vudeo once i get her here. She looks to have yellow feet, and a tilted neck. If anyone knows what she may be, id like to know! I would say she was either a factory defective one, not meant to be sold, or a outfit model.

      Hi, Astoria Building! Nice to find you again! I still have my Jill, but she is in rather rough shape. You can visit my channel again if you like to find out what happened. I will probably be making a couple more videos of her-one the way she is right now after her first initial repairs were completed, and another if and when I get her fully working again. It has been a very up and down saga with her.
